Yes, Titan's wall goes up three times: 70, 55, 40. If the dyad finisher hits hard enough, you might be able to skip one of those (by going straight from 72% to 53%, for example), but that's a big ask. And even then, you've still got one wall-breaking SB left, to deal with two walls.

The normal way of getting past those walls is an OSB. Unfortunately, Alphinaud and Wedge don't have OSBs, and Papalymo's is fire. Fujin and Ultimecia do have wind elemental magic OSBs, and maybe some others. You could, conceivably, buy Fujin's OSB and her SSB (instant cast, En-Wind) and use her to bust walls.

Also a buff question: am I correct in thinking that all of the following stack?
Overdrive attack/magic/mind buff
Deuce's Concerto (+attack/magic)
Papalymo Leylines (+magic/haste) [this is the main reason I brought him even though he's otherwise useless]

Yes, those buffs all affect different stat combinations, so they all stack. (Although, if you had Alphinaud's wind chain, its +50% Magic bonus wouldn't stack with the +30% from Leylines; instead, the second one used would replace the first.)

It's better to use Ultimecia's brave USB than OSBs to break walls, even at level 2 or even 1 it can destroy them if the chain is high enough. Plus the USB entry overwrites Titan's def/res/mind buff at the start of phase 3.

Ramzas Shout is overwritten by +attack buffs even though it comes with haste though, right? Is haste ignored when checking if a buff combo is unique, or is Shout just some weird exception because its old?

Oh I also have Tyro here for godwall, so only Papalymo is obviously expendable; I guess I'd probably prefer Ultimecia to a better +magic buff?

Haste is a status like shell and protect so it's still get overwtitten by something like a gen 2 chain or wrath. Haste is technically not part of the "buff" if that makes sense.

Yes, haste is usually a separate status from the buff. This was a lot easier to check when Mister P was still updating his PDF, the best resource on the game that ever existed (RIP). But basically it's just groups of stat buffs that usually go together.

Ugh another two manual labyrinth runs still no Emperor 5% damage weapon or armor, this is ridiculous! Why did they have to make it so rare?!? It's just 2% extra damage!

Well on a postivie note Dark weak-Wodin was mentioned in the MVP mail for July 9th, so we can FINALLY get that mind boosting gauntlet.

Have you beaten Dark Odin? He's not exactly a push-over, but he's easier than 6* magicites. I believe nowadays you get a copy of each 6* magicite for doing so.

Their entry would take out 2 of the 3 walls for you.

Ultimecia's bsb and usb1 give her enWind. She can also do decent damage without enWind by using Dark Valefor. Wind weak dark Odin is harder than Titan despite coming out earlier. But he's also one of the hardest dark Odins and Titan's one of the easiest.

Maybe you can try fire weak dark Odin? You have Yda, Cater and Trey with cap breaks are Cater can imperil. He's a lot tamer than wind weak.

I got Vayne's LMR+ off the daily today! Now he's gonna crush the next Wodin even more

I guess another reason Titan might actually be easier is that I have overdrive on Titan but I'm not gonna unlock that on Odin!

The teams I currently have that can beat 5*s are fire/water/earth phys and wind magic. I've been farming Phoenix for the magicite dailies.

I'm waffling on whether to spend 25 mythril on the magic AASB draw. My numbers tell me it's a worse investment than doing five LOTR draws, but the guaranteed awakening part and chance for multiples is tempting. But it's still just about 25% for getting something I'd be pretty happy to get.

Yeah Dance as One. It's a full break counter, quickcast, heal chase on dance and weakness damage boost depending on how many FF6 characters are on your party.

Free LBO was Tifa, which is just perfect, since she is one of my strongest characters already. Timing is also perfect, with Kalavinka Striker being the current endgame boss.
One of the 6*s was Edward's Awakening, which never actually sounded all that good to me, but some like it.

I did the 100 mythril for Mog AASB2 draw. We'll see if that thing is as good as they say.
I also got Firion's Sync from the draw, as well as Paine Glint+ and Lightning Glint+. Firion is now double BDL. He still sucks, of course, but I might need him for ice whenever we get that Odin.

Gonna hold off on actually doing the select just in case I get Mog from banner 2, but I did the two focused pulls themselves

1: Squall, Balthier, and Reno infusion glint+s (dont have anything else for them, so not too useful at the moment!)
2: Rem awakening

Actually, how is Celes supposed to work? The sync is holy, but C1 buffs spellblades. As far as I can tell there are no holy spellblade abilities, so what gives?

The Rikku dyad is actually kinda nice since she was already on my water team as filler; now I can actually justify diving her!

Im trying to plan out my other 8 pulls; it seems like B3 is probably a skip and I probably want to put at least four of them on B5, but other than that Im not sure. Im preliminarily thinking of doing two on B2, waiting until B5, and then if I get what I need there go back for B4.

Wow, Spiralling Depths is super long! It seems like usually they roll stuff like this out a couple dungeons per day. This reminds me of the really old days like the Legendary Plunder event but even that one was only 30 dungeons. I ran the first 50 tonight almost full auto, not sure how hard the next 50 are going to be...

I think the bosses get like Bahamut/Labyrinth high stats, but they don't have gimmicks like savage mode, damage reductions, walls, memory bites ect. Just mostly damage and standard event boss stuff. But you have to beat them like 5 times.

CoD limit break on the free draw. Don't have much of anything for her, so meh.

First ticket got a 5* I don't remember and Xezat AOSB.

Second ticket was a dupe Ashe OSB and Noctis Sync2! I have his AASB and Sync1, and he was already a beast!

Got Sabin's AASB from my first ticket and 2 garbage BSBs from the second one. I always liked Sabin, and I'd love to add him to my fire team, but we're at a point where just having his AASB sadly doesn't make him relevant.

Special gear for the featured characters and good drops

Even if you hate it you should try to clear every dungeon through to the last stage and get the free record marker clears in daily. Use the record marker each day on one of the final 3 dungeons, depending on gear you like.

Guide to clear if you hate the mode

1. Set up a single really good party that can autobattle everything. Generally you need to have your prime damage dealers be white mages (MND doesn't get debugged through fatigue) or summoners/ninjas using magic (they have dumb damage formulas that can power through fatigue debuffs to magic). You should be able to autobattle with a team that has 3 damage (imperiler can be in one of these slots) + 1 healer with proshellga Glint + 1 chain wielder/other support. Ignore the other two parties and autobattle every encounter with that one.

2. To progress through dungeons prioritize in this order:

Rainbow room (very rare, still haven't seen)
Treasure Room
Goddess statue to remove fatigue
Red sword onslaught buff thing
Green exploration path (I open doors-- chance of Treasure room is worth the extra fights you get)
Enemy tiles

This minimizes the amount of fighting you need to do since all you're out to do it clear.

I personally like it because the loot drops are fun and setting up an autobattle team is a fun challenge, but I see why some don't

Also if you want to get through the lower level labyrinth quickly use Ramza with his instant atb + instant cast LMR and use your highest level historia Crystal or Wodin/6* magicite, when the enemies get tougher make a team of characters with haste+ instant cast LMRs.

What's the easiest Argent Odin to run for this mission? I remember the holy-weak one was a pain even though my team is amazing. Wind weak has two achromatic aegises so that doesn't seem like the easy one. I don't remember the fights that well...

Cool, I'll do that one. I bit the bullet and finally took out magic-weak Ifrit for the 6* magicite mission. I'd been sitting on that one for a long time because he was such a pain... 16/16 now.

So, for some reason lightning weak wasn't easy for me at all, my damage was terrible even under max chain and Quina Sync. I did water-weak instead and crushed it, even though I forgot to equip Tidus's dyad, and failed to account for berserk/death. I would think that one must be the easiest especially if you actually prepare for those attacks.

Water weak Wodin is actually considered one of the hardest because of the pain, but Tidus sync2 is the Diabolos Achilles' heel.

Surprised your damage is so low, are you using Lightning sync? That's really underwhelming against Wodin. It's better to use the Awakening (combo if possible) Queen sync/awakening also demolishes Wodin if you have that too.

Yeah, I was using Lightning's sync, saving the awakening for the second part of the fight. I wasn't going to use the combo because it overwrites lightning infusion with holy. Anyway, don't need to worry about that again for a while.

I don't have either of Tidus's syncs but I do have Rikku's Dyad now, and Quina can also attack and break the cap with her sync ability on that one.

Oh when you said Tidus' dyad I assumed you had a sync of his if call you called Wodin easy. Out of curiosity who was your other DPS then?

Also only 20 floors left of this spiraling mess of a dungeon. Ughgggh so much HP to chew through...

The team was Tidus, Edge, Rikku, Quina, and Elarra. I did get 400k from Tidus's LBO and some damage from his AOSB.

Edge was on my lightning team too but he was doing a lot more for water, probably because of imperils vs increased resistance.
