Similarly, reversing harmful Trump-era policies is felt to be a good thing, and the complete worthlessness of the concept of "Trump's legacy" means that legacy's preservation doesn't even factor into that value judgement. It only looks hypocritical if you treat politics like cheering for your favourite football team.
