Do you think this is a good strategy to guilt trip conservatives into donating?

The House Republican campaign is employing AGGRESSIVE online fundraising that is telling potential donors who won't sign up for recurring contributions are being called a DEFECTOR to former gigalo, President Trump and will be told in BOLD letters of it!!

It came ot light after the Trump campaign was forced to refund 122 million smackers to online donors, many of whom claimed unknowingly signed up for recurring online donations

It comes at the bottom of a Trump social media poll claiming the former president is planning to launch a new social media site "very soon"

They check a box to donate 35-5000 and then a large yellow box with wording of the guilt tripping.

It also lists a warning that "If you want Trump to run for President this is your LAST chance to FLIP the house"

It was identified by former anti-Trump Republican operative, Tim Miller as a previous note said "Check this box if you want Trump to run again. Uncheck this box if you do NOT stand with Trump"

It also offers to activate 5x matching, a tactic in the trump campaign used repeatedly in 2020 without offering specifics or assurances that trump himself provided the match.

House GOP Tom Emmer said it would not be wise if Trump follows through on his threat to back primary opponents against 10 House GOP including Liz Cheney as they said they must stuck together to beat the Democrats

One of the people scammed in the donation was cancer survivor, Stacy Blatt who was battling cancer and was a true Republican patriot who donated 500 but then 500 was taken out each week until October and it was only after his rent and utility bills bounced and his family found out their money was being drained by the Trump campaign.

His brother, Russell said "It felt like a scam" who helped Stacy get to the botom of it. He died in February of this year

Do you think this is smart GOP stragedy to guilt trip conservatives into making monthly donations?

Well you see the important difference is the repubs wanted nearly $2T to go to already wealthy people, whereas Dems want $2T that aids poor or under served communities, as well as things that serve the country as a whole, and would help shift our dependence on fossil fuels towards renewables. That's why Dems are bad

That's basically how it goes. Democrats run up the deficit by spending the money Republicans refused to spend (but generally needed to), Republicans yell at them for it then also run up the deficit by cutting taxes. Lather, rinse, repeat, throw in a tax hike every now and then to keep the spiral from completely bottoming out.

Nope. I'm not surprised that Republicans will stoop this low to beg for money while looking pathetic
Actually I am surprised. The "If you're not with us you're against us" approach is a tactic of the Democrats. I thought Trump was the one to stand up and say this polarization bull shit needs to stop.

Remain inactive = Republicans lose.
I don't like the Republicans any more than I like the Democrats. Trump is the only one I supported.

Sadly, they weren't, hence the polarization between people that still believe in some implausible utopian version of America that could have existed if not for the election being stolen, and those of us that understand reality.

How are you suggesting you prove that race relations got worse under Obama?

Even if it did (I don't think it has), I would blame other prominent individuals in American Media more than I would blame the Democratic government. I would blame a lot of things on them though, for sure!

I would suggest that Trump said far more racially divisive things than Obama ever did....

One way is to look at where race relations ranked as a major political issue during the years Obama was in office compared to before he took office. I think this will show that it became a greater concern to people in that timeframe.

Another thing you can point to are speeches given by both the president and first lady. How often they brought up their race and the influence it had. I think people interpreted those remark as "look at what we faced" as opposed to "look how things have changed".

I will concede that there are other factors which may have contributed and the extent to which any one factor contributed is unknown.

However that wasn't the point I wanted to make. That was an example of how I would caracterize Trump's approach versus that of his opponents. They appeal to pathos and offer nothing else thus undermining their argument.Trump appeals to pathos plenty as well. There is also an underlying thread of logic. In the issues that he brought up he was at least demonstrating that he understood what the role of government was at a time when his opponents demonstrated that they did not.
