No, but neutral. Much as I like Leo, the characters of Inception are watered down so that Nolan's story concepts can take the forefront. Inception was pretty much the beginning in Nolan's trend of no longer developing characters, and just focusing on elaborate story ideas. Unsurprisingly, this coincided with the moment that Nolan began regularly writing his original stories, as opposed to only the adapted screenplay.
