Just Minlin and Dragonspine left now for a full 100% treasure map. Also got my Hu Tao to lv80, but none of her talents or anything else ready yet. The resin limitations make it a pain to fully prepare a character even ignoring artifact RNG

To-Do List:

1. Farm for a Crimson Witch Crit Rate circlet for Hu Tao. Her Dmg/Rate is a super lopsided 205/25. Max out the rest of her artifacts while I'm at it.
2. Farm for mora. Currently at 2.9M.
3. Kinda want to build either Lisa or Amber next.

How much HP does everyone have on Hu Tao? I can't find an HP sands that isn't both off-set and dubious in substats. I think I may be giving up on having the right sets at this point and just accept what I can get, but I've heard EM can be decent...which is probably a lot less so for me considering I don't have a functional Xingqiu. Literally every build guide pairs him.

Beidou (or Fischl) doesn't really pair with Ganyu, which is about the only viable set-up I have for reactions right now.

Anyway, iirc, my level 80 Hu Tao has 23k HP, and I know it's easily possible to have a good bit more even without running hp-hp-hp or hp-pyro-hp.

About 35k for me at level 90. HP sands, pyro damage cup, crit rate hat. HP is a substat on most things but I didn't go looking for boosts for it specifically.

Also got Staff of Homa, which is relevant for getting the big HP numbers.

Does Homa add 20% to total HP or just base HP? If it's a straight +20%, that means you've got 29k-ish without. I imagine Swifty will be at about the same point once artifacts are +20.

So yeah, I'm missing some health potential somewhere. I equipped Diona's sands (+12) and estimated I'd have 27k with a fifth artifact. 2k isn't a world of difference, but it might be enough to tip the scales between using an HP sands and working with something else. And if Homa isn't providing 6k for you, then obviously there's an even bigger gap I'm missing somewhere.

Fell completely off this game after the mega grind to get to AR29. I'm at like 27 but having to do commissions every day to rank up is so lame. I do have another side quest chain to do but I haven't played in like 3 days.

Looking at the next set of characters I want to build: Sucrose, Venti, Beidou

Sucrose - 2pc Wanderers 2pc VV or should I go 4pc VV? Running EM/EM/EM for Sands/Cup/Circlet and 2pc Wanderers/VV was the best I could do.

Venti - 4pc VV, EM/Anemo/Crit Rate - though his artifacts are pretty trash. I'll have to farm for better substats, but do I even need to fully build him? I've had him so long though that I feel that I do. First 5* and all.

Beidou - currently has 4pc Thunder but I don't know anything about her optimal build. I will also need to level Skyward Pride.

TIL you can talk to the Blacksmith in Mondstadt and Liyue every day and hell show you where the Mystic Crystal spawn locations are for that day.

I pretty much memorized every location and made it part of my daily farming route but this saves some time.

It's technically slightly more efficient to, but you really are just saving at most one teleport. Sometimes none. I usually don't bother with the Liyue one because it doesn't actually save time often.

That was added during 1.3, so it's been like that for a while. They made a point of announcing it when it went in, and I've basically been doing it ever since.

It's worth noting that while he will point you to ore lodes that already exist, in general, the daily nudges spawn additional nodes that act independent of the 3-day cycle. Like, if he points you to the same one two days in a row, it'll be substantially less. Also, you can go to ones he doesn't point you toward, and it's not as much. But if he's been pointing you anywhere else and then sends you to a spot, it's more lucrative. I'm not sure what the precise mechanics are, but I just go where he tells me (except I often skip the Mondstadt ones by the wolf because they're such a pain to get to.) I also check under the mountain and on the islands every few days when I think of it.

Sigh Lavawalker artifacts out the ass again and barely any Witch ones. Why am I artifact cursed so badly. Up to 33 fates saved up for Rosaria now. Doesnt feel like enough even though shes a 4*

Sometimes 4-stars are worse. At least you know you'll eventually get the rate-up 5-star.

This Cor Lapis quest is so strange. First of all the plot is basically the GME short squeeze. But also the Feiyun Commerce Guild is somehow the good guy for creating a monopoly by threatening all the vendors.

That's the weird part, it's self aware of the weirdness in a way that seems to be putting China in a bad light. Doesn't seem like something the govt would approve of. That might just be the translations though.

Managed to beat the spiral abyss.

11-2 held me back a lot. I really had to play around with team comps to squeak by. Still feels a bit rng on if I clear/clear well, but I'm getting a little better at manipulating enemy AI on 11-2.

Then the next floor happened and...honestly? Kinda easier in some ways. Sure, enemies got hp for days, but there's no particular bs mechanic to additionally keep an eye out for. Its just 'here are stompy enemies, try not to die'.

I couldn't have done it without the shielding aid of my Zhongli and Noelle. I like them together for resonance, but these last few floors really benefit from me shielding up on both teams. Zhongli enabled Hu Tao to do her thing unimpeded, while Noelle ensured my freeze comp team was practically immortal.

I imagine 1.4 will shake the abyss up a bit, but if things stay mostly the same, I'm feeling much better about future performance.

I had the same experience for this period. Well, not the Noelle part, I haven't built her. But 11-2 was the blocker, and I didn't find 12 too bad. I missed 3 stars in total, one in 11-3, one in 12-1, one in 12-3. The Zhongli/Hu Tao combo annihilates everything easily, but I need to do better on the other side if I want a perfect score.
