Most of what's going on isn't going to impact my life so I just don't care, and I tend to avoid people with strong political leanings as I usually see them having the same tendencies as me but they just want to be loud and obnoxious about it. When I hear someone else say it, I mostly just try to figure out if they're just saying it to avoid drama which is usually the case, legitimately apathetic which is rare, or just ill informed . This tends to also be someone who skews conservative, because the status quo is conservative.
