There wasn't much "uncanny valley" that I could notice. The episode was fantastic and the series as a whole is one of the best things to happen to the franchise in a long time. I do wonder why they made sure to keep Moff Gideon alive though. I love his character but what can they even use him for? Didn't they just want the darksaber? The movies were great as a modern day retelling of greek mythology, but they were all pretty surface level, no deep character development or storytelling going on. Good popcorn movies. Mandalorian has been awesome so far, though. Great writing, characters. Sweet western, bounty hunter type feel to it. Anyways, I had no idea what was going on at the end, except that I thought that Jedi was a fucking badass. ~~Then he spoke and I recognized his voice, and I thought maybe it was like a clone of Luke or something, or like a love child lol?~~ Anyways after I came here and read this stuff I thought it was pretty fucking hype. Actually the more I read made me realize that maybe the non-movie stuff actually did have some depth to it, and it made me want to check out where all these characters I've seen this season come from.
