I set a stop at 10% aka $160 and it just hit. Made $4,400, my biggest gain ever!

I recommend getting out before close of business.

I feel like airbnb is overpriced based on market cap, which is higher than all 4 of the major airlines combined right now and almost as high as boeing

Damn. I wanted to get back into WIX yesterday. Oh well, Airbnb made me happy. For those who bought Airbnb high / didnt sell it yet, Im sure itll be over $160 by February the absolute latest. Probably way sooner though. Like, as in tomorrow.

That means you would have had to been staring at your phone all day, waiting for it to open. I did just that, and it came at the expense of getting hardly any work done today.

An article by Jim Cramer came out. Apparently VISA is gone up 10 out of the last 11 years from December 24 - January 31. He says this needs to be a play for everyone.

I looked at VISAs history and its true. But then again so do most stocks but that one especially is a sure fire 5-10% gain in one month.

I was gonna get in on MMED, but my broker was down last night and it started skyrocketing this morning before i got my order in, so I backed off. I think getting in before joining the NASDAQ would be good but I think as a general rule I want to avoid buying things that have already started spiking up. I could be getting in on the hype or I could be buying the peak during a pump before the correction and I'm not sure I like that kind of gamble. I've already messed it up a couple times.

SPCE launched this morning and aborted the flight about a second after the spaceship was released from the plane that took it to 50,000 feet. The spaceship was able to land safely with no damage to it or the pilots. They said they identified the problem, with a motor, which they have more of onsite, and will fly again "soon." Not sure if that means this weekend or a few months out.

If it's not this weekend, I expect the stock is going to take a beating on Monday. Although, personally, this inspires more confidence than SpaceX's test flight that reached space but exploded on the landing. Not exploding is the most important thing!

I was almost in the green on LIDAR stocks about 3 hours ago. Then....LAZR fell about 22% and VLDR fell 10%. At least I sold a little bit this morning and yesterday.

Just finished selling off some of my losers and specific ID a few to harvest those losses before the year end.

Im debating paying my stock gain taxes between using my checking account funds versus my Vanguard stock funds.

If I use my checking account funds, I get to invest my full amount still which would yield higher gains. The downside is it would theoretically mean less everyday spending money, but I have enough I think.
