most laziest way of losing weight ever

Step 1). Find your calorie intake

Step 2). invest in a good pair of running shoes, fit bit and air pods or something

Step 3). Eat anything within a deficit, if you don't want to do all the hard work, just do OMAD and eat out

Step 4). Get a combined hour minimum in your day and walk outside, treadmill, or whatever while listening to podcasts or watching GOT or something.

Step 5). LOSE weight

SEE you don't have to do any of this WHOLE 30 Keto bull **** to lose weight dear lord

Probably because losing weight actually is difficult

"Just stop eating lol" isn't quite the super-easy genius solution you think it is

then you have a mental issue that needs to be worked out with a doctor if you mentally cannot stop over indulging in food.

Requires a life style change that most people aren't willing to do.

Plus it can be a real drag to not see immediate results, seen too many people quit after the first week because they're not seeing good results.

One Meal a Day, if I were to do this diet with my workout activity I would need 2300-2400 calories to lose weight. It is pretty hard to eat this in one meal let alone find this at a restaurant unless you are at the Cheesecake Factory killing it.

There is no profit to be made with the idea of "eat less of the foods you already do" (and hopefully be more physically active, even if it's just walking)

So people are instead inundated with advertisements instead of data. One does not need a "meal replacement" that costs just as much (if not more) than their normal meals, for example. If you're still hungry have some water and food low in caloric density (ie, most veggies)

some people have mental issues and eat as a vice, this is how people get morbid obese

Your typical overweight person is someone with a stretched stomach that doesn't understand the basics of calories in calories out and might just be snacking too much or not caring what they are eating

You know, you'd really think it'd be that easy, and in many cases, you're right. Thing is, age. The older you are, the more your metabolism slows down. I used to be able to do the deficit thing. Now, 46, even when I follow it to the strictness, I barely see results, and if I barely stop, then it just comes back in spades.

Like lmao what do you think weight problems boil down to

You're always hungry or you're never hungry. It's difficult to not eat when you have a consistent appetite and it's difficult to eat when you don't

This is "if you're depressed just stop being sad" levels of stupid

You're always hungry because you aren't eating the right foods or have a mental issue that needs to be worked out with a doctor. It is way easier to plow thru a bag of potato chips and still be hungry than eat a whole bag of store apples.

at this point, you have to be honest with yourself and outright admit that you are properly following everything and not slacking off. 10 times out of 10 this is the reason lol.

Shifting blame to yourself instead of everything around you is harder, and is what ends up holding many people back initially.

Your mental state is a reflection of your inner self that you project outward into reality. Remedy your inner self by purging toxic, negative thoughts and perceptions. Then imagine what healthy is. Ask yourself... what does a healthy person look like? What do they do? And then emulate that and manifest those thoughts and ideas into your reality by doing it.

The willpower and consistency then comes afterwards. Ask yourself if if's worth it to keep going forward and keep being healthy. If you give up, then you need to step back and further reflect on your mentality and approach to getting healthy. Ask yourself what you are doing wrong, make the changes and try again until you get it right... then keep going harder and harder.

The problem is there is almost no way to know that by looking at just anyone on an observation.

If you have a bad relationship with food
"Eat Less" might as well be "hey smoker, stop smoking" or "hey, alcoholic, stop drinking"

Obviously, TC, losing weight IS easy for the people it isn't hard for. But that's self evident. If you have mental/emotional issues and food is your only crutch, then it's very very difficult.

You can make plenty of deductions and what not simply by observing.

Look at a any healthy person. Ask questions like what is a healthy person? What do they eat? How long do they sleep? What do they do for exercise? What do they do as hobbies? What do they shop for at the grocery store.

You can easily compare yourself and your lifestyle to that of a healthy person and a healthy lifestyle, weed out the bad habits and adopt good habits. But doing that requires you to shift your mentality from negative thoughts and ideas such as "I can't do it because it's hard" or "I'll never maintain it for long", to positive experiences and thoughts like "I can do it because it's worth it" or "I can maintain it and improve bit by bit every day.

Your mental state is a reflection of your physical state. Fix your body by fixing your mind. If you wanna go one step further, you can fix your spirit/soul by fixing your mind. If your mind is fucked up, your body will be fucked up because everything your body interacts with on this 3rd dimensional plane of reality is a reflection of your fucked up mind, whether it's the people you are with, the place you live, the place you work, the food you eat, the hobbies you do, etc.

My advice wouldnt be stop eating, itd be eat 5-10% less.

If youve got a problem where you keep binging McDonalds every day, you do wanna get that under control
but stopping cold turkey is hard. Start by swapping to a Diet Coke (or better yet... water, but still), get a medium fry instead of a large, etc. Eventually, cut back to every other day. Go incrementally. Thats a much more sustainable way to approach it.

I find it very easy.

Weigh yourself every day. If you're originally overweight, then you need to see that your weight is going down at least SOME every week. If it's not, decrease consumption.

If you're at a normal weight, weigh yourself every day and eat less if you gain any.

yeah, it's definitely stupid since there's only one or two people ITT who even remotely suggested something as idiotic as to "stop (insert anything here)" and then continue to trollishly parade it around as if that's the actual argument being debated.

Its not easy, but i also don't think its the hardest thing in the world to do.

My genius solution is to still eat like absolute shit, but start running more to the point I lost 100 pounds and can run half marathons. It is that easy honestly. Either exercise more or eat less. If you combine both I don't know what happens, the world probably explodes. I don't have the will power to eat less, just to exercise more.
