I'm looking for something less heavy than beer, but also not as sugary as wine or tonic water, but strong enough to give me a buzz after 4-6 drinks. I'm not a whisky/scotch/bourbon drinker. But also not looking for super strong shit for during the week.

Any ideas? I really dunno what to do. Thinking gin and no sugar tonic water

Do you guys have stuff like Perrier, La Croix, or Deer Park flavored seltzer water? A lot of those are really good, they are all natural and zero calories. I think any of those depending on the flavor would go fine with gin. Honestly, I like doing a lemon lime, or even strawberry flavored seltzer with tequila when I want to cut back on beer calories.

Omg we went to village inn tonight and the website said its open til 12 and we got there at 9:30 and while we were eating this elderly couple came in and were turned away cuz they were closing, turned out they close at 10 :( the husband looked like he could barely walk, he had a cast on his leg. Poor guys.

Drinking a Sidecar

2 ounces Cognac
1/2 ounce of Cointreau
3/4 ounce of Lemon Juice
Tablespoon of Sugar Syrup

Shake and strain into a chilled Coupe glass. Really nice cocktail although I'm going to try different specs

Wine doesn't have to be sugary though. Why not get some dry reds like a merlot? I can't stand the sugary wines anymore but my go to casual drink is a bottle of Shiraz.

Try classic cocktails like Aviation, Last Word, 20th Century, Tommys Margarita etc.

They're strong so having 4 would leave you tipsy but the intent is you sip them rather than chug them.
Also there's not too much sugar content. There's some sugar in some the booze but it's usually minimal and most classic cocktails arent about overly sweet syrups which give you the hangover.

Yea she is a fucking dirtbag. Her and my wife were best friends in their party days and while my wife grew out of it she did not. My wife has basically just stayed friends with her out of pity but after this she was like fuck off.

Finally getting around to trying Flight Sim 2020. First trip is to Nashville like I said I would. I did like 2 tutorial lessons so this probably won't end well.

So couple big issues right off the bat. Took me about 5 minutes to get the parking brake off. I got the plane in the air and just skimmed over the mountains flying west instead of east. Found auto pilot and turned that on.

I forgot this shit is very much real time so I probably won't get to Nashville for over an hour. I have real time satellite data streaming so it's dark and I can't see any landmarks to figure out where the fuck im at. I think I just passed Lubbock but I have GPS and autopilot on so i'll get there eventually. I turn autopilot off occasionally and floor the engines to 100% and get all kinds of shit from air traffic control but they can kiss my ass.

Hey Mabus I had a question regarding watering. I try to spray lightly, but no matter what the soil becomes matted down afterwards. I don't know why, but it bothers me lol. So I use a toothpick to poke some holes and sort of get some ventilation in the soil (I try to avoid getting too close to the plants). Should I be doing that, or is it okay to leave the soil as it is?

I think tradition is you kill a bottle of it at the bar and the last shot has to eat the worm. The worm absorbs a lot of alcohol so it's supposed to hit you harder, per legend.

It should be fine as is. If you want, stick an earthworm in there and he will aerate the soil but I don't think that's necessary for what you are doing.

When my plants start growing, I go to the local gas station and I buy like 10 containers of earthworms that are sold for fishing bait, and I toss them all out in the garden. I toss one container for the chickens too, they are like little raptors going nuts eating them.

I really want to get earthworms, but right now they're in wee pots that are like 4-5 inches tall and 3-4 inches in diameter at the top of the pot :<

Also I don't trust the instructions anymore. I just noticed it said to keep the soil moist but avoid soaking completely, and that spraying was best. The plants are doing much better under the douse every other day or so method lol. One of the tiny strawberries even grew a third leaf :D

Oh there's a species of tiny worms that are less than half an inch when they're adults. I would love to have some of those lol. But then the standard ones grow to about 14 inches :<

That's good, it's a learn as you go kind of thing. Different plants do better with different conditions, it's all a learning process. Your bird will eventually have some home grown treats.
