So about this softbank fiasco
If they really are the cause...there won't be a stock market crash, but all the inflated tech stocks should drop down, no? so in a way it will be a crash nonetheless..but for one sector

And since this is the leading sector - it might affect the whole stock market. So I can't see how this is good this is their fault - it will affect the market anyway
It even affected small israeli stocks that I am sure Softbank doesn't even know about them - SolarEdge, Fiverr, Wix, Audiocodes etc

If Softbank bought those calls in the Spring they probably made a huge fortune already. Not sure that it matters - we knew there was demand for these stocks already, does it change anything that we now know who was buying a significant chunk of it? Not really.

I sold off all my NKLA at 46 this morning.

I read the report briefly and it seemed like GM is basically doing everything, including the hydrogen fuel technology they have. Quite frankly that doesnt inspire much confidence in me since...I have no clue what Nikola would even be doing? Besides the designs I guess? I like NKLA as a hold I just don't want to hold it with the $49 entry I had. It'll come back down imo. Can probably get it at low 40s high 30s even with the good news.

Okay was feeling spicy today so I bought 69,000 shares of HPR in the mean time.

NKLA's chief business isn't the pickup truck, it's the hydrogen fuel shipping truck business. And they haven't made really anything, not even the plant to build that or the fuel infrastructure, etc.

The Badger is just the sizzle for RH investors. The CEO has actively touted this. He's great because he is so active in begging for stock valuation to make stockholders rich.

But I don't know what their business will look like at all. Whenever they get hype spikes, I sell and then buy back in on the decline.

My NKLA play has been >45 sell, <45 buy.

What happens from today, I don't know. It could surge into the 70s for all I know. It could be half that in a month. I guess I'd sell some of your position. I split my position into 2 limits and both sold today. But I guess I just take the money because again what even do their financials look like when they start selling trucks a few years from now?

Well I've heard no news to doubt them. I think you got in at about the bottom so it's a safe hold long term I think. I still think it's very safe to hit the $4-$4.50 range in the mid term by like end of year, if temporarily. I've nickle and dimed more shares on dips and am up to 2000 shares with the plan to sell 1000 in that range.

Just their approved product is potentially very lucrative imo (less addictive morphine without the stigma seems potentially billion dollar worth when they start to penetrate the market a bit) and they still have a drug pipeline on top of that. They even have some COVID relevant stuff in the works that IIRC was going to get some results in December. I think if those get good results it could rocket really high temporarily because it already has a backbone of an approved drug.

Like I said when I was first pitching it this isn't really a speculative buy. Your only real fear is offerings with these cheap bio stocks, but the thing is those will usually come off of news so that's when you sell them. Keep in mind this company can feasibly get to profitability without any more offerings because they have enough in the bank to fund through end of 2021 if memory serves.

They also have 3 presentations lined up this month, 14th, 17th, and 23rd. If it doesn't move at all when or before those all finish I guess I wouldn't be super disappointed with you if you got out, but I wouldn't.

I plan on buying back into AAL but yeah at nearly 14 I was like 'no way it doesn't drop this week' and that's almost 2 dollars of profit per share so... yeah <_<

Yeah if I had that amount I'd drop that too. I'm about 5k in right now with average price of like $2.07. Which is a lot for me.

The only real doubt is whether they can get a foothold on the market, but I think the "political" part of that actually favors them-- the drug they're competing with isn't exactly a drug that has a good rep.

Diversifying is hard. I want to just keep putting more into TRVN even though I believe in the other things I have money in too.

I should be able to cash out LPCN pretty soon though for better or worse so that'll be another $500-$2000 depending on how it spins.
