Vanguard is showing my position as multiplying by 2.5 thanks to the splits (what was once ~$100k is now showing $250k). This is surely due to Apple and Tesla stocks splitting but the platform not yet adjusting the prices of the stocks. Maybe itll be a glitch and Ill take it out before it corrects itself, lol!

Same, a balance to aspire to one day.

Robinhood says I've lost $4982 today. If I go to one week view it's fine and my dollar amount is accurate but it's kinda funny.

I believe it's because it's adjusting my 13 Apple shares as though they were at $500 or whatever.

Sold Tesla for around a 10% gain. It hit a stop after a super brief dip (of course). Now Im hoping it crashes.

Apple does feel much more safe than TSLA to me. I sold a two shares of Apple to build a bit more LPCN and XPEV to balance my investments a bit but I'm going to hold most of it I think. Wouldn't do that with TSLA.

I'm not saying TSLA is gonna crash or anything but I have doubts in its ability to keep growing much.

Same. Im not sure how it keeps growing but it does. Im planning on holding Apple for a whole longer. I was going to sell Tesla today regardless.

Apple is super consistent
Even in the March stock market crash it took it awhile to start crumbling

But it's a different kind of beast now. Apple rose like crazy and can bleed like crazy just as anyone at this height

Tesla might be the most unstoppable stock of all time.

The question to ask is what you think would cause Tesla to crash and how likely is that to occur?

The thought is that Teslas true value is grossly overestimated, and it would go down several percent to correct.

The usual escape mechanism for bubbles. At some point, it becomes so expensive that new buyers cannot afford to buy very many shares. At that point the price stops going up. When it stops going up, people start to sell because it isn't going up. When that happens it starts to go down. Then the world wakes up and realizes the company isn't worth anything close to its share price, and the world rushes to sell.

Except in this case, the stock split so people are going to continue buying since they can afford it all of a sudden. Its up another 3% after close. Man I shouldve held.

I don't see how that can be priced in. The act of buying a large quantity to fund their portfolio will naturally cause it to spike when that happens.
