The trick to throwing eggs is to just let go of the grab button on the upward part of your jump. They toss pretty far by doing that.

I saw someone was talking about that strategy and I tried it, and all I managed to do was drop the egg back in the net each time.

Hmm you're probably letting go of the button too early or too late. If you let go while your character is moving down then he's just going to drop it where he's standing.

If the other team is competent they can defend steps easily. Its just a bad game and feels weird that it got left in

Worth noting I've also played this game on my PS4 Pro at home and my friend's regular PS4 and the input lag and FPS lag on a regular PS4 is INSANE. I know it wasn't internet lag because my friend's PS4 is wired and mine is wireless at home.

Like I always hold up when I'm starting a race and on Pro if I'm in the 2nd row my guy will usually blow past the first row and end up in the front. Trying to do the same strat on PS4 and there's so much input lag sometimes the 3rd row passes me before I even start moving!

So some of the things I'm doing on PS4 Pro just might not be possible on the regular PS4 but IDK.

I did win my first Fall Mountain and then won my second one soon after.

I was in a Fall Ball game that we won 14-0, even being down 5-4 players. We had one dude that was Fall Guys Pele and I legit think he would have solo won that game.

Ive won two Royal Fumbles back to back, which is a nice feeling. Managing to come in 1st on races more often too.

Did an episode containing Dizzy Heights, Hit Parade, Perfect Match, and then Block Party. We were down to 10 and I thought "oh awesome, an episode with no team games".

Then suddenly game 5 was Fall Ball in which the rest of my team gave up halfway through >.> I've never seen an episode do more than 5 games until now.

Thats frustrating! Ive had some episodes go 6 games. Ive also had an episode end on the 4th round, 19 person fall mountain >_>

Yikes, the most Ive had for Fall Mountain is 16. Any number for Fall Mountain past 10 sucks because if you start in row 3 or 4 you have almost no chance of winning.

A new annoyance. Getting that 3-team ball roll game. The annoyance has happened twice in a row now. Someone from the leading team (the ball is on its way uncontested) drops back to block the second place team (my team!) and bothers things just enough for the 3rd place team to catch up. It's annoying. Your team is going to win, leave us alone! I'm fine with 2nd and 3rd place blocking eachother, but when someone from the obvious first place team does it, it's annoying.

The other night I was playing Rock N Roll and the entire red team abandoned their ball on the top before it fell down onto the 2nd level. So their ball was just stuck up there but they had our ball completely blocked in the corner. I swear it went on for 5 minutes before we could get around them but it was impossible for them to win.

I wonder why they bothered wasting their time blocking. Unless they expected their ball to just fall on its own.

Sounds to me like a party of 4 decided beforehand to grief and the other 1 or 2 people left had no chance, so they just decided to jump ship and join them.

Of course I had to say this because I just finished 18 player Fall Mountain and I started in row 4 Me and two others jumped for the crown at the same time but one of them got it first. So I was at least close!

I think I'm officially starting to burn out. Played See Saw 3 times as the first game tonight. Finished in first place each time and then sat around for 5 minutes waiting for everyone to finish and then the next game was always a team game where I got eliminated in 2 minutes.

Might grind to 40 this weekend and then shelve it until Season 2 or until they drop some new content

It's the team games that drag it down, at least for me. Losing a few times quickly through no fault of your own. I played three games yesterday, lost on team games each time, set it back down. If I lose in a race or something, at least that's on me, for the most part.

Also if I never end up playing again, I retire with a perfect Slime Climb record. I was confused as to why this one is the killer for so many, outside of the second set of moving blocks pushing you off the edge and the cylinder platforms it's not that hard.

I'm feeling a little burn out too. The intro levels have become too easy. Pretty consistently get top 10 finishes in them. The easiness of them has kind of zapped some enjoyment out of them as they've become just a time waster to the intermediate levels, only to be greeted by Hoarders over and over again (whoppee...). Team games are most brutal when you've lost like 3-4 shows in a row on a team game. Uneven Fall Ball semifinals also make me want to go mad. 5 v 4? Oh, that's fair. I am at level 38 currently, so I may lessen my play time going forward to maybe give myself a break and get excited about the game again.

The team games really drag it down for me too. Majority of my non-finals eliminations are from team games, though I will occasionally mess up in Slime Climb or get stuck in the back of the crowd on Door Dash.

Yeah I can't even remember the last time I was eliminated on a non-team game. Maybe a random game of solo Tail Tag where my tail got grabbed at the last minute but that's it.

I win my first ever game of fall ball where I was on the team with less players last night and it was glorious. My friend and I were more excited for it than most of our wins.

I think I am the person people hate in Fall Ball.

Last night I scored all 9 goals for my team and 3 guys on the other team left mid match.

No the worst people in the game are people who just charge at the balls in Hoarders and knock them into the other team's base. I had 3 games last night where people weren't even trying to go around the balls, just holding W and slamming them directly into the other team.

I love Fall Ball, and I guess I never really notice if it's uneven because I'm that good *flex*

But really, if no one challenges you at the center after a goal, you can really start running up the score with a well timed jump. It's an instant goal that really can't be blocked.

Fall Ball is fine as long as both teams are even. It shouldn't pop up with an odd number of players.

On the other hand it feels fantastic when you're on the odd team and overcome the opposition through sheer skill. My team won a Fall Ball 6-3 and there were 9 of us yellow vs. 10 blue. I almost gave up immediately when I saw what we were dealing with, but I'm glad I didn't.

That said pls no odd number Fall Balls. My case was definitely the exception to the rule of low ball auto loses. It also doesn't help that some people immediately rage quit when they see the odds are against them, killing their team's dream of getting to the final.

How well do you do on previous events?

We have the opposite luck. If I had to guess, I've played Fall Mountain maybe 40-50 times and have been in the front row for 40-45 of those times, second row about 5 times, and never been in the back row.

I thought maybe it was based on placement from the previous game but then once I crossed the line first in Tip Toe and was put in row 3.

I feel your pain. Whether there are 2, 3, or 4 rows in Fall Mountain, I am always in the back. And I don't just say that as an exaggeration. I'm not mostly in the back. It doesn't just feel like I'm always in the back. I am literally always in the back.

I keep on waiting for one to prove me wrong and I just laugh out loud when I see I'm in the back again.

Lost on fall mountain mid-jump for the crown. That wouldve been my 3rd win in a row. That five in a row trophy feels nearly unobtainable.

I've heard of an exploit where you can quit mid-match before you lose and it doesn't count as a loss, though that doesn't really help in a situation where you lose so quickly that you can't back out in time.

I start off in one of the front two rows about 50% of the time (as it should be, because RANDOM) and it still doesn't matter because I choke every time and when I don't someone runs out flawless and anything I do doesn't matter because I'm two steps behind.

If I could get a Fall Mountain finale consistently I bet I'd improve at it, like I did with any other races, but my most common finale by far is Hex a Gone at like 40%

Runner up for Fall Mountain again. I ran it perfectly aside from one ball hitting me but it didn't matter. Dude one step in front of me took a mallet but kept rolling... LITERALLY somehow right to the finish- it was BS. Because he was a step ahead he jumped a split second before me and that was the story of how I met your mother. Seriously what the crap? I take a glancing blow from a ball land my Guy falls over like a bullet hit him, yet another Guy takes a direct hit from a mallet and keeps running with his spine literally been backward. I'm so done!

He didn't get hit, it just looked like he did due to latency. The animation physics are calculated client-side which is why it looks like people run straight through falling over.

Just got the trophy for winning 20 episodes. I still havent unlocked 50 cosmetic items, reached level 40 (Im close), gotten 1st in a racing round 20 times, qualified from 500 rounds or won 5 in a row.

i also need win as a party of 3 or more so if anyone wants to do that one together, just let me know.
