Yunalesca has one really memorable scene + a sweet boss fight, and honestly that's better than a lot of characters in this contest

It makes her feel completely superfluous. You could say the same thing about Kimahri too, and I honestly don't rank him much higher than Lulu. It's basically Auron > Rikku (massive gap because FFX-2 turned her into fanservice bullshit) > Kimahri > Lulu > Massive gap down to Yuna, then Tidus, then Wakka. --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier. I think what Charon means to say is that the people who make decent saves never seem to be available at the end of the round lately (e.g. Where was Xuxon to save Sephiroth? At the dentist apparently. Whoops!), but there's always someone there to save Penelo, or formerly Braska, Setzer, etc.
Not that these characters are terrible or the people that save them are such. That's not an opinion I personally endorse, but I do wish there could be a bit of a shake up as this is starting to become depressing. I'll be shifting my voting priority a bit starting next round.
