So we selling AVCT on Friday? I feel like the ER wont be this week and that it wont be as impactful as we thought. I might sell today and catch it on a future dip, based on the new info you shared.

Went back to TRVN at $2.27 with roughly the same position I took last time.

I think this will be a very strong long term play as the only reason it's so low right now is because they did an offering at $2.30 yesterday, but that offering is presumably so they can start manufacturing their product which feels like a huge moneymaker.

Not to mention they have a few more things in the pipeline. I'm going super long on this one. Not even considering selling any till it gets to the $10-$15 it was at a few years ago because realistically it should have that kind of value. This was their cash cow from the beginning and now it's approved and they've got other stuff going. If any of you want to follow me into bio stocks this is the safest one I think. It's not going below $2.30 and is going to grow a ton in the relatively short term I think.

Would be very surprised to see this one go down by any meaningful amount. Really only one direction for it at this point. Wish I got on this morning when it was at like $2.19 but I hadn't found the offering news then.

Absolutely no volume on AVCT, just like the old days. At least this could be good if they delay ER - it would still only take a week or two and since there's little to no FOMO buying going on I don't think it'll drop much if they release an NT-10Q.

I'm holding but I've played this absolute goldmine about as wrong as you can so there's that.

The decline yesterday coincided with the Big Ten's announcement of the cancellation of fall sports. I wonder if that had anything to do with it or it was just a coincidence.

Well that was before it was known the FDA had approved Olinvyk, which occurred last Friday and caused the stock to spike to $3.60.

At this point the profit path is clear and I see them only going up as I imagine most shares below $2.30 are going to be scooped right up, and once that offering closes I figure the stock price is gonna steadily go up. Easy doubling potential here by the end of the year even if I intend to stay on it for more than a doubling.

This is not your typical "we need an offering because we don't make any money" penny stock offering this is a "we're using this offering to accomplish something and we're gonna rake soon" cause there's a big market for IV pain med alternatives.

Now that being said you can probably wait to put money on it until Friday as the offering closes then. It might drop a few cents. I want in now though. One monster press release is all it takes and I feel really safe at this price.

I only sold because of the updated news you shared though. It didnt sit well with my timid self.

Well one of my info points I think I was rather off on: dilution. It can be maintained in a multitude of different ways and with management's huge plans for the company they're not going to want to stay this low for long.

AVCT likes to randomly drop huge nuggets on us or we could bleed out until the inevitable boom when they complete the acquisition of Kandy (they have until Dec. 4th). Who knows. My warrants are right at the average but I'm comfortable seeing half my account value go down with this thing since I saw the entire account value double in one morning.

I thought you had added just now considering it dropped to $2.42

So if you wanna be conservative, hold until a few days before earnings (Aug 25). It should run up pretty easy there at minimal risk.

If you wanna be aggressive, hold through earnings. But if you pick this, hold with no fear. These bio stocks are wacky in that they tend to have random huge dips for no reason when big news is expected so you have to be unflappable.

Keep in mind it dropping back to around $2.30 would not surprise me. The offering is still a thing that exists and isn't closed yet. Don't freak out.

Either way it's going to run well above $2.44 even by the 25th so it doesn't matter unless you lose your nerve. You will make some profit on this. Probably sizable.

Yeah I'd sell at open on 8/24 as the conservative play. I was going to say "the Monday before the 25th" but they're the same day!

In fact I might actually do that myself for these extra shares I'm getting because I'd be completely awestruck if we couldn't climb to the pre-announcement level last time (about $3 a share) but as far as the timeframe to hit these crazy $15 numbers I'm talking about, maybe a year or two out, y'know.

Yeah I dont have that long term play in me. Especially since any type of bad news can come out within that time.

The big thing with this stock is the two bad news that can murder penny bio stocks are a non-issue

1. Offering. It's been made. That's why we're at $2.30ish. But the fact that we're above the offering price is a huge deal. That just doesn't happen very often. I think they're going to be very profitable soon so this should be the last one they need for a good while.
2. Bad test result/FDA rejection. FDA just approved their big drug so that's a non issue. They do have things in the pipeline but I feel they're minor contributors to the stock price at the moment.

So I mean yes "bad news can come out at any time" but risk seems minor here imo. At this point you would bet against it because you don't think there's a market for the product which, okay, even if you don't this is safe for a $2.40 -> $3 flip I think. I believe in the product so I think they're gonna start raking.

This thing is going up from the offering price before the offering closes, and hasn't ever been more than a few cents below it. When you track the price of as many cheapo bio stocks as I do you know this is a really big deal-- there's a reason I doubled down today and sold around $300 worth of loss to do so. We're all making money here, just a matter of how much I think. Offering closes tomorrow so Monday is when we'll really have an idea of its power.

Well moment of truth tomorrow for AVCT - still predicting a delay though to keep my expectations in check. Hopefully if that happens we've had enough sellers this won't drop support much lower.

That said all this thing has to do is hit 10 again and my warrants are worth 60k, leaving me at about a 100k. And it all started with 10 grand. I believe. It will happen sooner or later this year.

So as for the other positions in my portfolio I sold AAL for a nice little win, which was a good move (yeah I lied about holding it for the week) and umm why the hell is GAN up so much? I expected the sports cancellations to wreck it. Will probably sell at 30 if it hits that, think that would net me around 5 grand. Or maybe I'd just sell half.

I can't imagine sandstorm's account: must have gone from 200k at the start of this trade to over 6 million on the Kandy pop back to 400k or something.

Why would you do that to yourself? Dude isn't even a millionaire currently. I can't understand that methodology of trading, seems like pure ego to me to go for the enormous win long term when you already have a huge win if you sell. The warrants aren't even fucking registered, and he knows that.

Im happy I sold AVCT for a profit when I had the chance. One of the few times I didnt shoot myself in the foot with selling too early. Though I couldve sold for triple what I ended up getting.

I hope it still goes up for you guys long term. Ill be sure to stay away from it moving forward to help your chances.
