This game has been pretty crazy... This series has been pretty crazy.

Dallas lost game 7 in this round to eventual champion St. Louis in double overtime. It'd be pretty cruel to happen again...

Damn.... poor Avs. But I really felt like Hutchinson couldn't get the job done. That's a shame though.

Also would've been rough for Dallas to lose two Game 7 OTs in a row so I guess that's nice for them.

I just hope Vegas wins tonight as I'll be rooting for them in the conference finals. If it was Stars/Canucks, ugh.... I guess I go for the Stars.

Dallas had 0 overtime shots before the rush of shots that won the game.

Greiss has earned the starting job against Tampa unless he lays an egg in a future game. That game was basically a copy of game 1. Better team won the series.

Every team that led 3-1 won its game 7.

The Islanders defense just put on a clinic of how to lose a game at the end.

4 unobstructed shots from within a couple of feet of the net in 15 seconds. Defense basically stopped putting up any resistance.

This reminds me of Islanders/Penguins where every time the Penguins scored, the Islanders would just score back right away.

This has happened several times this series where Tampa scores within a minute or two every time the Islanders do.

I watched one game last year and it went to double OT (And hockey generally isn't my speed) so I didn't care to pay much attention this year oops

I remember when the Lightning lost to the Blackhawks in 2015 and how everyone was comparing them to the 2009 Blackhawks and how it was only a matter of time before they won. Well it took them longer than the Hawks but glad they finally did it I guess. As a Blackhawks fan I guess I should be happy a division rival lost but it's still too bad it came at the cost of good guy Bowness.

Yeah I ended up watching the last two overtime periods & the last 10 minutes of today, watching it now.

Was hoping they would pipe boos into the arena when Bettman speaks, not hearing them is the most unnatural thing of this whole setup, lol.

Glad for the Lightning though, good for them, especially as a rebound to uh... last season's disastrous first round sweep.

Congrats to the Lightning, a deserving winner. After last season, they were still so much of that really talented team, but invested more towards the long game of lasting through the playoffs. They remind me of the Red Wings team from 1997, both in style and how they got here. Now uh, hopefully they don't win a bunch more cups after this.

So I was looking up Stamkos's draft year and it turns out that Bogosian and Schenn were drafted 3rd and 5th that year respectively. Doughty at 2 and Pietrangelo at 4 have also won Stanley Cups...which makes me wonder how often, if it's ever happened before at all, the top 5 selections in a draft all win a championship, not just in hockey but in any sport.

Good playoffs for sure.

Rumors say Dubnyk and Donato to San Jose, but it's not "done" yet. Kinda shocked San Jose wants Dubnyk, even as a backup, but whatever.

If the Wild get a draft pick back, cool.

But if my research bears out, Fleury still has 2 years left at 7 mill per year year based on a 3 year extension whose first year was the 2019-20 season.

So.... interesting to see what they do with that. Just imagine the Seattle Kraken drafting him, lol.

Wild traded Donato to SJ for a third, and Dubnyk deal definitely seems possible at this point. What would they get for a shit goalie on a "meh" contract to be a backup? I dunno. Rumors say a late first, but I highly doubt that.

Leafs legend Joe Thornton has signed with the Leafs and will join Leafs legend Jason Spezza.

All we need is Leafs legend Corey Perry to also sign and we'll have the slowest line in hockey.

The Leafs we over the salary cap like 5 signings ago and are just trading everyone that isn't on of the big 4 on offense. League min contracts or bust.
