Well, it's not all games, there's other types of content in here too

but some of the games in here are worth 5 dollars alone (A Short Hike!)

I bought OneShot for $6 recently, and it was very much worth it.

It plus 743 other things for $5 is probably a good deal, I guess.

Night in the Woods is a phenomenal game, and I'd say that everyone should play it if it was the type of game everyone should play. Yes, I know that's a tautology. >_>

That being said, while I don't have pretty much all the rest of these games, I'd like to be able to give someone the gift of NITW, rather than having it sitting on two different storefronts. That doesn't appear to be an option here, unless I'm blind.

New problem: These things are not added to your Itch.io account unless you download them, and on the purchased bundle they're split into 25 pages and not in alphabetical order. So how do you even find a game once you know you want to download it?

Purchased of course. This interface for downloading them is an absolute logistical nightmare, though. I opened tabs for every game I was interested in, only to find out the actual store pages don't acknowledge that you own the game and had to go back through the entire list again. There's also no actual indication that you own any of the games on your account unless you go through the email link.

So you can download these individually rather than as a giant bundle, right? In that case it's probably worth the price if you can find even 5 out of 1000 games that you've heard of.

Scrolling through the list of games it reminded me of old 90s PC freeware/shareware games, where you'd mostly have a bunch of generic crap that you'll never even bother trying, but a few random things that you end up playing a lot.

I just found PICO-8 on the list, the "fantasy console". So you'd get another 1000+ tiny games just from that alone.

I did a search for "dragon" and I didn't see this one, but I did see Hot Gay Bro Dragons, so I figured I'd check that out instead.

It's a PDF file. Not even a video game. And it's supposed to be an RP game you play with your significant other, where you answer a game question and then it tells you what to talk to your SO about. It's all of about six questions long, too. I was definitely disappointed.

edit: @MoogleKupo141 Okay, so I did a search for "furry" instead and found a game called "Furries & Scalies & Bears OH MY!" It's a visual novel about a girl and a boy who travel through a portal to a land where all the creatures are anthropomorphic animals, and once in a while I got to make a decision about what to say, which led to gaining reputation with the person I spoke with. So...it's a furry dating sim, I guess. So far the story has just been about how the portal brought me and my friend to this other world, but it sounds like the portal may not reactivate for another year, which is when I'm sure I will get my furry on. I dunno, I only played for like 20 minutes to see what it was. The art's hand-drawn but it's pretty decent. Very vivid colors. And the writing isn't too terrible...yet.

Just to confirm, as part of the rules they specified for creators to submit to this, no adult content is allowed to be included in the bundle.

I don't know about Robert Yang's stuff but if there is any pornish stuff that somehow snuck in, it'll most likely be taken out.

Honestly just find 1 single game in the bundle that you like, pretend that it's a Steam sale marking it down to $5, and buy it for that. Then you also get 1,426 other games for free, at least a dozen of which are probably playable.
