Then I listened to the audio, and I thought man, that joke really doesnt work. Still the lesser of two evils. This match sucks. Moving on. Sofia Lamb is a good character, but Paradise is not a good quote. The binary will you adopt the puppy or kill it? moral choice stuff is always the weakest aspect of any game its in, and it does her no favors to speak about it. If it were me, I wouldve nominated a quote that discusses her own personal ideology, but I didnt. Better luck in BFVQE2 (there will never be a BFVQE2.) Anyway, Insects is really good. Some might call it simple, but I call it perfect. To the finals! Now heres an example of The Bosss non-villain status deciding a match, in my book anyway. Gun offers a choice: will you try to live an honorable life, or will you mindlessly continue down a path of death? Monster says there is no choice: no matter how hard they try, the wicked can achieve nothing but more and more wickedness. Its the quote of one who is such a villain that they cannot imagine even any potential for goodness. If that doesnt convince you, just listen to the audio for these two: Gun is a bit stiff, while Monster positively drips with scorn. Fall makes me feel like Im missing something. I guess its saying that falling (to the Dark Side(from Star Wars)) is something that you dont notice that its happened to you, or that you try to ignore it and pretend nothings happened, but if you admit that its happened then youve really fallen. Something like that. I have a feeling its way more impactful in context, which doesnt matter. As for Incompetent, the best I can say is its better than Monika. These 8/9 matches are wild. Monster says there is no choice: no matter how hard they try, the wicked can achieve nothing but more and more wickedness. Its the quote of one who is such a villain that they cannot imagine even any potential for goodness. If that doesnt convince you, just listen to the audio for these two: Gun is a bit stiff, while Monster positively drips with scorn. Fall makes me feel like Im missing something.
