Depending on the definition, I could easily just say Mario and not only still play all the classic 2D/3D platformer titles, but also stuff like Mario Kart, Mario Party, and the RPG's. I'm assuming spin-off series are their own separate thing, though. Since you never mentioned any rule in regards to "watching video games", I could just easily make my decision on "which great video game series would I still want to play that I wouldn't get enough satisfaction from watching a playthrough?".
