A Skyrim > Witcher 3 Semi-Final Result
This was the guru cookie choice so unsurprisingly we have eight people that could win should this semi-final result occur. Should we go full cookie hear on out (or Portal > Persona 5) then yoblazer wins. After that things split quite a bit. Transience wins half of the SMO > SSBU results though loses in most permutations if RE2 > ME2 where ZeldaTPLink wins. Hylianknight3 needs RE2 > ME2, DoctorJimmy133 needs P4G > Xenoblade and Advokaiser needs TLOU > Dark Souls. A Skyrim > Persona 5 Semi-Final Result
Due to the low number of people taking Persona 5 > Witcher 3, three users will have a chance at winning despite getting one of their semi-finalists incorrect. As written above, transience and ZeldaTPLink split most of the SMO > SSBU scenarios while Advokaiser can win in certain TLOU > Dark Souls events. The "cookie" pick goes to LordoftheMorons whom can also win if P4G or God of War win their fourth round match. A RE2 > ME2 result gives charmander6000 a bunch of opportunities to win and can tie with Ringworm if both P4G and TLOU win. WiggumFan267 has one opportunity to win outright and a second opportunity to tie with transience. Taken By: ffmasterjose Now I will take a look at the nine alive brackets that don't have BotW winning. I won't be breaking things down too much. I will mostly comment on whether or not they win if their champion wins or if they need results on their side. For ffmasterjose, his bracket is made in a way that SpikeDragon or ZylotheWolf could catch him. Should Witcher 3 reach the semi-finals and if two of ME2, Xenoblade and Persona 5 win in round 4 then SpikeDragon will surpass ffmasterjose. Non BotW Winning Brackets - Witcher 3
Taken By: Big Bob and Jester69 As far as I can tell the only bracket that could surpass Big Bob is Jester69. Big Bob's bracket is good enough and relatively safe enough to avoid being overtaken by a non-Witcher 3 winning bracket. Jester69's bracket is more upset crazy, including taking ME2 > BotW in the quarter-finals and GTAV over ME2 in the semi-finals. Unsurprising, should BotW reach the final Big Bob will overtake him. Even if the ME2 > BotW upset occurs there are some scenarios where Big Bob (and others) could finish ahead, particularly if SSBU or Dark Souls reaches the semi-final. Between the five of them four different finalists were selected to go against SSBU. Should TLOU make the final Agent M will win while Whiskey_Nick will win if Skyrim makes the final. Along with Witcher 3 making the final Xeybozn needs either Dark Souls or Pokemon HGSS to reach the semi-final, if Skyrim makes the semi-final then Xeybozn needs both Xenoblade > P4G and Dark Souls > TLOU to finish ahead of Whiskey_Nick and if TLOU reaches the semi-final then he needs both Portal 2 > Persona 5 and Pokemon HGSS > Skyrim to finish ahead of Agent M. Both firefdr and NowItsAngeTime took Pokemon HGSS to the final. The big match between them will be Persona 5 vs. Portal 2.
