What are you talking about? You are like acting like I am insulting them and you have to defend them. I was pointing out a fact. It's not raising as much as usual. I'd figure it's because it didn't have a lot of build up time for it and a lot of people don't know about it. AGDQ is usually too stream. Hovering around 6th or 7th earlier.

though to your point, I've spent a good bit of time on r/speedrun, actually attending the events, in speedrun discords, etc. so I've heard a lot of the conversation around the GDQ events over the years and it's often the hip internet thing to do to bash GDQ, so yeah I am a little more inclined to read that as hate. because they tend to get a LOT of it, unjustly, from within the community. so I did probably read into it a bit too much with that perspective.

I've been watching it and am happy at the lineup which usually doesn't have a lot of Xbox games like Halo.

Mirror's Edge is pretty flawed but I think back on it fondly. I still don't know another game that gets that exciting sense of running as well as that game does. I wanna try Catalyst sometime too, though I hear it didn't learn all the lessons it could have about its flaws.
