Most "good players" play very smart, methodical, boring games.

Tommy played an AMAZING game last season, but he was actively detrimental to the entertainment of IotI.

Yul and Kim are similar in this fashion, but they were overt leaders of their alliances.

On the one hand, I don't care for Wendell this season and I'm not gonna lose sleep over his boot. But on the other hand, that merge episode just feels like...empty. I don't know. I just feel like everything was flat and there was a ton of strategic discussion and I have almost no reason to care about the results based solely on how that episode was edited.

The editors love the funny 115. The target shifting one by one narrative, starting with Nick and a brief montage of him showing up in the middle of conversations, before switch8ng talk to Adam.

Then five minutes later with talk on Wendell, there's Unexpected Nick interrupting conversation and walking off and my ass is laughed off

Oof, that was a little bit flat at the end, but it was a nice look at the dynamics going on. I was wholeheartedly rooting both Natalie and Yul on to come back, but I'm so happy it was Tyson edging out Rob to come back in. Also, great deal.of Sophie makes me happy.

Yeah hoping they vote Sophie out right fucking now because I haven't forgotten South Pacific. Feeling like she's ready to cruise to the end. The glimmer of "big names teaming up to protect each other" got my hopes up (as my favs are pretty much always the big personalities that draw attention vs. the weak UTR types) but already feels like it's collapsing, we need Tony and Jeremy in the game as long as possible damn it.

I always liked Jeremy but I liked him even more after today's ep. And Wendell doesn't even give him a fire token, pffft...

But the montage of Nick coming into frame to butt into conversations over and over again... was laughing so damn hard, that was beautiful.

generally bland episode yeah, liked the fun moments of people like ben though.

best part of the episode was definitely the "nick slowly walking into every shot" montage

I can't believe we had to sit through 3 episodes of that horrible Michele/Wendell plotline and it doesn't even end with her voting him out. In fact, she's one of the few who voted with him. I didn't think that plotline could get any worse, but it somehow did.

yeah, with a financial incentive you can't blame them for maximizing their collective odds. amber's certainly still gonna try, but they aren't stupid.

It's not a good thing at all. I just said one of the few positives of the awful virus is how spoiled losers (such as yourself) are finally put on an even playing field with everyone else and seeing what life is like when the world ACTUALLY doesn't give a shit about your race/gender/sexual orientation. And wouldn't you know it...the people who've experienced the least hardship in their lives are the ones complaining about how everything needs to be fixed because it's inconveniencing THEM, suddenly.

As for preferring women to men...yeah. OBVIOUSLY. Men have a tremendous advantage on Survivor, and while there was a time when I rooted for overdogs, it's not fun to watch one gender blandly dominate the show the way they have for the past five seasons (really, since Cochran won). And it's even worse when you get producers that think bland, hot guys that offer nothing to the season warrant extra screentime (see: Michael Yerger).

I'm pretty sure spoilers are out there, since last week there were a bunch of people on the Survivor subreddit suddenly saying Yul was likely to go that week. Plus it's a returnee season with Sandra on it, so there's no way it didn't get out.

Yeah, she's believed to be the one who was behind the HvV spoilers, and I think she's thought to be behind the GC leaks, or at least the pre-merge.

Also, another thing I forgot to mention was that Russell posted something on Twitter that implied he knew that Sandra was going to quit the Edge, and he's such an attention seeking troll that I could see him leaking anything he knows. So assume spoilers are out there.

I mean, to be clear, virtue signalling means you only support a cause that is popular, which you believe it will not cause you any loss to support. It excludes people like civil rights campaigners by definition. They incurred great presonal risk to stand up for what they believed was right. Virtue signalling includes bootlickers eager to get in the good graces of whoever is in power, like Mao's "red guards" or pretty much the whole Trump administration. Virtue signalling is one of the most despicable things there is in my opinion.

Im very happy Wendell got the boot. His comeuppance was delayed too long. My brother asked me who I was rooting for at this point and I realized that theres no one left I care about. Im hoping Rob wins the next extinction challenge, I think theres one left?

I'm rooting for Tony still, because he's the most dynamic personality left, although because I'm SUPER sexist, I'm kinda unhappy to see his continuing storyline of "we need to keep the biggest threats aligned together" result in him selecting a team of all men (which includes fucking BEN of all people), so we'll have to see how his story turns out.

Other than Tony, I'm rooting for Sophie and Michele. Sarah MAYBE, Denise MAYBE.
