Honestly, Ben probably is one of the bigger threats left based on past reputation. With all these UTR players left, the guy who idoled his way to the end sticks out more. But Kim should definitely be in that alliance (though maybe she is and it's not shown, given her purple edit and her alliance with Jeremy last episode), and probably Sarah too.

As far as I can tell, Tony thinks his alliance is: Tony, Ben, Jeremy, Kim, Tyson, and Sarah. Wanting to remove Wendell, Michelle, Nick, Adam, Sophie, and Denise.

Also, think more sports than chess when it comes to the "Best Player" category. People love sports! lol

Some analysis on LK:

They had an IPO last May which brought in $651 million and a second round offering in January that brought in an additional $865 million, so the total is a little over $1.5 billion. The market cap right now is... $1.36 billion. So if the company had just taken the funds the received and put them in the bank, and the company's operations were worth zero, it would be a good value buy at this price.

Of course the fear is that that $1.5 billion is not in LK's accounts already - that it's already been funneled off to the founders and insiders who have gotten rich and are enjoying life on an island somewhere. But I do feel a little better about holding this for now.

Ironically though, knowing Adam is gone and likely won't win his way back from EoE...I kinda appreciate him a little more for being an overplaying, paranoid mess of a player.

as much as i liked Adam from his first season he just played way too terribly this time to really root for as a winner this time. still would have liked to see him go further and maybe get BTFO in FTC but this was an alright way to go out.

I loved Adam this episode, he's a man slowly (rapidly) going (already gone) insane, and I agree, thinking that's an idol is worth a shot, why not. Classy exit.

I think my favorite thing about the Adam's attempt to play an idol tonight was how well foreshadowed it was (whether it worked or it didn't).

Off the top of my head, we had:

• Adam checking under the urn when voting.
• Adam looking around the voting booth at everything.
• At his first tribal, Adam failing for a full minute to put his torch in the ground. He thought it was a hole.

Adam noticing what could be an idol at tribal is well-established and I completely agree that it looked like Denise's and was prominent enough to be one. Adam just going for it and struggling with it and it turns out not to be what he thinks it is goes back ALL the way to his first Tribal this season. When he came in, and when he left. BOOKENDS

Further notes:

• That Sia song was.... not good the way they did it. It felt like... did anyone watch the Super Broly movie a few years ago? It felt like the fight music in that where we really, really didn't need the same thing repeated twenty times in two minutes.
• I am also much warmer to Ben now, and I didn't see that happening back after the first few episodes. Maybe without the Robfather and Crazy Adam as his allies/teammates, he's much less grating. I think I'd be as impatient with them as Ben was if I had to live with them for thirty-nine days. He's much looser with the rest of the tribe. Also, kung fu stabilization.
• I'm sorry, but this was the best whispering at Tribal council tribal ever. We had Ben and Adam having a full-on and open conversation while the other nine are just silently whispering with everyone else for a full minute or two and we get nothing from them for that time, their whispers ancillary to Adam/Ben and a mystery for what's to happen... until everyone is seated and Adam is asking questions and after a full two segments of names being thrown everywhere, pretty much everyone's name mentioned more than once (except Tony, Ben, and Sophie I think?), and there's just.... crickets. This is the most composed and silent and sure they've looked in episodes, and there's a palpable glaring answer that "Adam, the tribe has spoken" before votes are even cast. God, that was amazing.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this crazy, crazy ride.

I don't believe we got any Sophie confessionals this episode... I will say I jumped out of my seat when Nick threw her name out as the first thing before it got instantly overridden 3 seconds later, lol.

Jeremy continues to have the best reactions too. One more episode of the Jeremy/Tony tandem surviving is a good episode.
