his jokey start to game bothered me

when I voted him he poked Miz who is generally an easy target and he only showed up right after I voted him and pretty much avoided me completely about it

Upon a reread, Hb has done a whole lot of nothing, commenting on things unrelated to the game at times and not really saying a whole lot. You're right, the only thing he did was go after an easy MZero vote.

I wasn't fluffing around, though? I was giving my earnest thoughts. Game is just pretty slow and Gravy/Sbell arguments are super NAI for both. When Sultan became the topic of discussion, I was poking and questioning him because his logic was off, and I don't think that's fluff at all.

By the way, I think at least one of 5tar and Aecioo is probably scum. Two low content players who used the other like a screen to be more active.

5tar specifically said Lolo's content underwhelmed him. Lolo never posted once in the game. Again, feels like fake content from someone not paying full attention to the game.

And Sultan was asking too many aimless feeling questions. He felt like he like he trying to smokescreen the lack of being able to make up an early read. Then his Scare vote felt like a vote he was putting down just to put it down.

There's definitely scum in this cluster of three. Wouldn't be surprised if it's at least 2.

Also Hb is an interesting case. Activity wise he feels roughly the same from the previous game, but his actual activity has contributed little to the game - Certainly less than that one. Whether it's due to the game being much slower or not I don't know, but I wanted to murder him almost nonstop last game for feeling so sideliney, which makes me feel a bit more hesitant in that direction right now.

It points to the same picture that his content so far is fake. Other than calling immediately calling Ben town (an easy thing to do), he has done very little of note. Asking Aecioo to drum up his life's history felt like more of the same. He's kind of just there.

Anyway, I did not want to have any influence into my start of this game. Getting involved with gravy regardless of what his alignment is would have poisoned me. Frankly I didn't even want to know who my neighbor was but that was out of my control.

Ben and I haven't really spoken, but neither of us are really trying either, I'm sure if I engaged him he would reciprocate.

I did miss this tidbit, and it's Interesting though that Aecioo called him out on it so readily. Lowers the chance that the interaction is scum/scum a bit I think.

I actually like Corrik's use of the word "unfortunately" quite a bit because I see where it's coming from. It's certainly not a scumtell, and in fact I think town Corrik would be more likely to be that candid.

Shaded Gravy, voted Corrik, supports Hb.

I dislike Red seeming to jump on it like some sort of uber scumtell, because I feel Red should know better.

The vote on Corrik was lazy and opportunistic. He showed support for Hb lynch, but didn't give a reason. Red has done very little on pages 4-6 other than this.

isnt that counterintuitive at best and irresponsible power at worst?

like you could theoretically had access to a scum players mind outside of the game and be able to catch him in a lie

or you could have used it to confirm each other as town

So really I would say I want to go after 5tar, Sultan, or Red right now. That would be my top 3.

Actually nevermind, I don't think 5tar is the best starting point. Let me rethink it.

As far as Sbell goes being town, well, we just had neighbors last game. One of them was scum and one was town. Just the prior game. The scum member was the current host of this game. I think, it is likely that it would be a bit redundant, obvious, if the host went with the same scum/town split as last game. And, I highly doubt that Gravy as scum cried his teammate wouldn't talk to him so he replaced out because he could talk to his scummates otherwise.

That could all be wrong, but for now, I am definitely going with that line of thinking. It is just unfortunate that we keep having these lines of thoughts based on what is going on due to replaces or so on scenarios.

Though, scum/scum neighbors wouldn't be a terrible curve ball, but again, the gravy scenario tends to douse the possibility because then he used out of game theatrics to sell it as not possible.

Anyways, all I am going to say on that. Thus, I have the neighbors on the town/town train for now.

I've had multiple mason and neighbor games. I think I know best how they affect me. There is nothing wrong with wanting to start this game on my own.

I town lean Gravy, Corrik, and SBell at present.

About SBell: If you're scum neighbor with a town member known to be unstable, I feel like you'd be more likely to try to take advantage of it by manipulating him in secret instead of just completely blowing him off. Even if he turns on you, he still needs to rally people to get you lynched. I feel like the risk/reward of communicating with him favors the reward for scum SBell.
