Im pretty sure Ive domaines why I was asking aecioo questions when he asked me. I havent played with him and I wanted to get a quick read in his experience and play style. I asked about his best moments as town and scum because I feel theyd give me an idea of how he played both roles.
I called Ben town because I think Ben is town, its not really my fault if you think thats an easy decision. It being an obvious call doesnt mean Im scum if I make it.

I wonder if Crescent is focused on me because I joked about lolos absence and she felt the need to discredit me?

You did not voice suspicion of Lolo. You used him as an excuse to post fake content, as you have done most of the game. Using inactives as an excuse to fake content is a very old trick.

Sultan did more to suggest suspicion of Lolo than you ever did.

Congratulations on not reading posts. I didnt say I put suspicion on lolo. I said I joked about lolo which you seem to think was me making fake content when it was a joke. I said his content was lacking, he literally hadnt made a single post.
If you cant see that as a joke I cant help you.

The problem is you asked him about all sorts of past play, which he could... Just subtly lie about, or give nonspecific answers towards that were null. That exchange had no reason to exist for either of you. It's better to ask for other players about someone else you don't know and their past play, because that also opens up the ability to find inconsistencies in the responses you get. Asking the person themselves lets them dictate the information they feed to you. It's an inefficient, if not ineffective, technique.

I can understand if you missed the joke and thought it was some weird lazy scum ploy to try get lolo lynched because he was afk but when told it was a joke, maybe you should try and reread it and see if it could be a joke and you just misunderstood. Or you could just tunnel town for the rest of the day and make no effort to actually create content. Either way Im not gonna were my time explaining why your wrong if you cant see it after being told.

That seems like a very anti-town approach to the question. They could lie of course but if theyre town they have no reason too. Quite the opposite in fact.
I actually think Aecioo looks pretty bad for the way he answered fwiw. He was really non-commital in his answers and basically just said oh you can just go read it and had no memory of any strong town plays. It struck me as deliberately trying to not give too much away.
Your assumption that a player would lie when asked a simple question also pings me that youre head is in a lie first place too.

If he's scum and knows he has tells concerning his alignment, why on Earth would he be truthful about them? That's the issue. If you're town and he is scum, he can dictate the information you are allowed to see. It's better to get a community perspective of the person rather to put the cards on their table.

He didn't respond great, but my first impulse on the exchange is you were both scum and faking content just to do something. Was it alarming? No. The issue is you didn't follow it up. You didn't probe him far. You didn't ask other players what they did or didn't like about his responses. You just let it be and fell off the map. That lack of followthrough doesn't feel like you were ever that interested in his responses.

Thats literally the whole point in the questions. If hes open and honest I assume hes town, if he isnt I assume hes scum. If you go back before the questions I said he seemed nervous. Like someone who rolled scum on their first game back. However, Unlike you I dont play mafia like a dog with a bone, I had a slight suspicion and was willing to look at other players and how they interacted with Aecioo in order to make links. Unfortunately your misguided tunnel vision has meant Ive now had to voice my opinion and if he is scum no others are gonna go anywhere near it.

Im not sure how many times I can say this before you get it. I said if he is town he has no reason to lie or hide information. I also said I felt like he withheld information indicative of his play style which suggests scum.
If hed given me an answer Id have asked if anybody else remembers it to validate and leaned town on him. He didnt, I didnt, I dont.
I give up trying to make you see that I think hes scum. You do you. Its almost 4:30 in the morning Im going to sleep.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if 5tar and I are town bickering over a difference in approach while we're waiting for something else to actually happen and that Aecioo is scum sitting back and doing nothing.

It's not even that. He is talking about potentially shooting HB. HB said he would claim if he asked. He has beat around the bush to say he thinks HB is scum by even VOTING HIM. HB can't understand this means he thinks HB is scum. Sultan can't see this means HB should claim.

And the whole while anyone who is scum is preparing claims anyways in case of necessary because of no urgency put on them. Hell, even people that were here had no urgency put on them.

5tar did ask him a good question though... He's aiming to shoot the person that the two people he wants to shoot are voting. I'm wondering if this is coming from a place of frustration because he knows he screwed it up.
