You should edit your first post so that your removal of Another Winter comes before your support of Norse Wind because azuarc mentioned that the script works sequentially. Meaning that your Norse Wind support won't get counted, assuming it was a 21st nomination, because it shows up before you dropped Another Winter.

All right. After completely missing the lock rush (glad to see the Caligula songs got in and my absence didn't screw things up >_<) and catching up on the ~200 posts I missed I am pleasantly surprised at how things played out. Out of the 70-75 songs that comprised my original noms + supports + songs I wrote down as possible supports only 5 had reached lock status as of my last accounting yesterday (out of like 60 locked songs at the time) so I was all depressed at that but that number jumped up to 23/130 by the time the rush ended and that's a much better ratio!

Ah, right forgot to mention. The Great Three Houses Debate. edelgard or bust. I've so far stayed out of it besides pouting liked a kicked puppy when my rejection has been brought up repeatedly in regards to it because my noms were mostly tied up.

...They still are, I suppose, but I'll weigh in for whatever it's worth if it's not considered over now with Apex and Chasing Daybreak in. TRE, you supporting A Funeral of Flowers after I gave up did not go unnoticed even if I didn't comment on it at the time, but unfortunately I don't think you and I can save it even if I find my way back to it. Really, if anything I kinda figured that by the end I'd hop onto Shackled Wolves with you provided that I could and it was in play. I think that's still true. I'm at 20/20 now but presumably I'll have to make more cuts later and I'd like to think barring truly unusual circumstances I could throw it my support when the time comes. Though that depends if it can build its support back up - it was in a better place than Funeral of Flowers at least.

Happy weekend y'all! Things didn't get as chaotic as I was expecting last night, so I held off on joining in the fun. Here's how things progressed throughout the day:

09:30 (Post 632): 83 locks, 298 unused supports, 161 unused doubles, 115 0/0s
19:30 (Post 681): 94 locks, 291 unused supports, 141 unused doubles, 126 0/0s
20:40 (Post 706): 101 locks, 284 unused supports, 132 unused doubles, 126 0/0s
21:25 (Post 723): 111 locks, 281 unused supports, 124 unused doubles, 130 0/0s
21:56 (Post 761): 123 locks, 279 unused supports, 114 unused doubles, 140 0/0s
22:00 (Post 778): 132 locks, 276 unused supports, 111 unused doubles, 145 0/0s

As you can see, the majority of locks came from people using up their doubles, followed by dropping 1/1's and finally doling out unused supports. I'm hoping my patience pays off and the actual cutoff ends up at 4, but I'd say it could be anywhere from 3 to 6 depending on how coordinated people are, so it's definitely the riskier play!

I've been playing around with visualizing the locked pool and its supporters, which you can try here now that locks are done: https://p0p0p0p.github.io/graph14.html

First, you can try to find interesting regions that emerge after giving everything a minute to settle down. For example, I see a JRPG region to the southeast, and a high-energy electronic/rhythm cluster to the northwest. However, not every node's location means something; the 2D plane only has so much freedom and things could have just converged by coincidence. That's where you can try picking up nodes and relocating them to see if they're being actively coerced or were just placed by random chance. It's also a lot easier to see individual links by wiggling a node around and seeing which links move with it.

I'll be maintaining something like this for the actual contest as well, which should show much more interesting voter compatibilities based on match results (assuming Haste or Mycro/Toxtricity give me data from the compatibility spreadsheet because I don't want to do that). Consider this a preview of things to come!

The only graceful way to identify a locked track from the data is if it has 5 votes or not. Ordinarily I'd add an additional field to flag the locked songs that we could use as a marker, but because the data coming in from additional updates won't adhere to that format, it'll just screw things up.

If you or anyone has an idea for how I can work around this, I'm all ears, but short of purging every locked song from the data (which I am not doing due to the labor involved) or getting newbie to change the script's functionality, I don't have any ideas.

kind of a really hackneyed fix but you could manually go through and add some indicator to songs that were locked, and then base highlighting conditioning off that

it would be pretty difficult to do this if there were a lot of songs reaching 5 after the deadline (which i'm not sure of), but it shouldn't be terrible to do. again it'd be a bit of a slog though

Can you add in a fake user that gives 100 support points to every locked song? That way every locked song will look like it has 105+ points so they stand out as being locked.

Which sheets are completely out of your control? If it's just 'Nominations,' you should still be able to add formulas in 'Votecount list (noms),' which is the one people tend to watch near the deadline. Since you already have the list in 'LOCKED,' you can use COUNTIF() or MATCH() to indicate which songs have already been locked.
