I mean, he's talking directly to the phone, not actually the cameras (just FOR the cameras), so starting to wander a little bit out of habit while still talking to the phone... Isn't that weird? It's not the same thing as "He forgot he's having a press conference" because he's not actually talking to people in front of him.

Don't know who they're trying to convince here.

Most everyone prefers Bernie. Most everyone doesn't want Biden. But Biden is gonna be the nominee so I don't really see the point of always posting the latest "I hate Biden" thing. Even we switch up the "I hate Trump" thing every now and then.

You've literally had months to build the "Biden has brain issues" counterpoint and it literally never worked before, how can you think it will work now. He's been the front runner for the vast majority with the most focus on him and it never stuck.

It's because honestly Biden's gaffes are nothing new to Biden. I'm sure you could dig up a ton of shit since 2008 of him saying or acting weird but people are absolutely 100% used to it, hence why he's winning. People will insist it's different but it really isn't.

Fundamentally disagree. We're trying to compare Biden as an acting VP vs. him as a performing candidate, which means politicians generally act very differently. Look at Hillary Clinton as a senator or Secretary of State vs. the way she acted while on the trail. Or hell even Trump. Rally Trump and Presidential Trump act wildly different.

I mean Biden was already threatening to kick Trump's ass when he was stumping for Hillary. He takes a different approach when trying to campaign vs. trying to govern. Obviously he's a little older and slower but this "his brain is mush" garbage is lame.

Also, as far as politics go. You will remember that Trump's idea got rejected by Dems for the payroll cut. Then the GOP rejected the Dems plan. And many Dems said how sick it was the GOP blocked a bill for covd-19 relief. Apparently that was because Dems poison pilled it with abortion funding in it.

I'm not sure I buy the argument being made in some circles that Sanders does better on Tuesday because the coronavirus makes old people stay home. I'm sure that's true to an extent, but a young person's life is much more active and thus likely to be disrupted by the virus, which will cause then to prioritize other things than voting.

I think there's a non-negligible chance that Sanders drops out at the end of the debate anyway, so this might be a moot point.

Biden probably doesn't have dementia, but he's not exactly in peak mental condition either. Its sad when our choices are between two people who you probably wouldn't trust to look after your kids (though for different reasons) even if one of them is obviously WAY better than the other.

Biden's lead in delagtes has grown smaller everyday as the late counts keep coming in from, I don't see that happening at all.

I'm wondering what kind of impact Biden getting stomped tonight is gonna have on Tuesday, since that's basically a given at this point. Guess it just depends on how much worse Biden comes off looking.

Biden has Georgia and Florida to look forward to, especially as Bernie probably won't get anything from the latter.
