I think that DSP thought the bankruptcy would make it so he didn't have to pay anything, but it looks like he does. I could be wrong, I'm not a person that is smart with this sort of thing, lol

Basically, Phil will default and foreclose on the CT condo if he doesn't show up to CT court on 4/10/20. It's a signed order of default and it will truly fuck him over. Especially now since his Chapter 7 has turned into an "asset" case and he must sell all his assets to pay his creditors. His debt is no longer dischargeable now.

I told this story back around October, but I was looking for condos near the city his condo is since that's where I work. If it were on the market, there would have been a real chance I at least took a tour (not knowing it's his). This area is a high buisness area, so that condo would have sold quick if it was well kept, which I doubt since he hasn't been there in so long.

To put it simple.

The.CT condo was part of the bankruptcy filing. Had it gone through, Phil's debt would have been wiped away, and Citibank would be left with nothing.

Unless Phil shows up at the 10th, Citibank can foreclose. They can sell the condo (and it will sell for less than Phil paid, everywhere you look, you'll see that Phil paid at least double what it is worth). When they do so, they can pursue legal action for the difference. They can sue Phil and force him into a payment plan, or worse.

This whole bankruptcy filing might be Phil's undoing.

I think a certain percentage of the people who support him shouldn't be making financial decisions on their own. In the middle of a global pandemic, these people are throwing money at a man who has managed his own money so poorly that he's had to declare bankruptcy so that he'll put on a vest.

I usually don't go there, but I get the impression most of his fan base are so dependent they have ample amounts of "fuck money" from the ssi and goverment NEET checks as they have their parents to fall back on from their poor decisions. I wonder if his attitude will ever change.

When his Ch. 7 gets converted, or worse, dismissed, I expect him to get very nervous.

He already is in trouble now that Citibank can pursue legal action, but he acts no different for it.

This isn't a case of giving someone a shovel and letting them dig their own grave. He went out and got his own shovel, keeps on digging. Because as long as he is digging, he is not burried yet.

I can buy the sheltered white kid aspect. Most of the racist stuff he said over the years seemed like it came from stupidity, not hate. Phil is one of those people who can legitimately make that old joke about not being racist but hating everyone equally.

I like to think this us because Phil has literally no frame of refference. This is due to his narcissism and that he has been a hermit for the past decade.

Because he only leaves his house a few days per year, he doesn't experience life like an average person would, he has no social interactions, no positive or negative events. And his narcissim doesn't allow him to see beyond himseld.

So in his mind it is absolutely true that Tevin is the worst person on earth, because it negatively affects Phil, or so he believes. This is why Phil has burned bridges with anyone and everyone who is no longer if use to him.

He thinks in absolutes: if you are not with him, you are against him.

I don't think there isn't a single game, and as such a single developer, that he hasn't shat on. If you were using Phil as a point of reference, you'd believe that every game is horrible, has poor controls, is "Dark Souls" difficult, the devs made poor design choices, and who fucking knows what else.

As far as I know, he was streaming when the court meeting was. But like I said earlier, Phil's pressence might not have made a difference, but it does make him look bad by being absent and not even trying to contact them about it in any form or way.
