Working mornings now though because I have enough time on that I can live comfortably without the night diff. The vast majority of NYPD cops make shit though. You make like $50k through 5.5 years then it jumps to $85k overnight. And most of the guys with enough time on to actually make money are lazy and don't take advantage of the overtime made available. I was probably one of the higher paid cops in the city. I made more than my bosses. I'll be retired by 43, as I have also invested wisely.
