Eh, the people who believe tripe like this aren't worth caring about anyway Ulti. No reason to be hurt by this in particular-- they actually don't represent b8 at large. I'm not saying b8 at large likes you or anything but I would like to think most of them aren't so angry at you that they're letting hope of you disappearing outweigh their ability to be at all objective. Like it's just super dumb to seriously consider you'd do that if you actually think about who is doing what where and when at all.

People like that aren't ever going to be won back because they don't properly digest information. Consider the mindset that makes someone believe something that far beyond the pale. You could have relatively good behavior for years and they'd interpret it as some sort of long-term ploy, or they'd weigh some random slips you had a few times a year as greater than the generally okay norm, rather than you having changed for the better, you know?

You've upset them and that's it. They've dug their feet in. Just accept you've got some haters that you earned in one way or another, and get the more open minded people on your side by just continuing to make an effort instead.

I mean Leonhart is right that you've earned this, but you're also right that you've been, well, less of a jerk recently. Like I'm not saying get complacent or that this isn't still a battle but I think some encouragement is nice once in a while-- I'm sure some people are noticing you're trying harder lately.

Of course the times where you slip up are more memorable (that Hearthstone China thing-- lol) so it's an uphill battle even ignoring biases, but just keep at it!

Ulti would snap with significantly more fanfare and most importantly wouldn't do it in a contest announcement thread of all things. Like I'm fairly certain that if we didn't have contests every few years Ulti would have left this site by now, even with any sort of lingering fondness he has for parts of the community.

I mean it's like saying I would plausibly account suicide in the APWT when I heard Glacier won the Royal Rumble as a mystery entrant or something just because "hey anyone could do an account suicide it's GameFAQs baby!" It's just completely absurd.

Ulti always uses the circumstances against why he would do it. Play a mafia game with him for heaven's sake.

The evidence when looked at properly is overwhelming.

1. Person freaked out for something that normally makes ulti upset.

2. Clearly had intimate knowledge or who ulti was and how he operates.

3. Talked in same mannerisms as ulti.

4. "Hacked" into multiple accounts, which if they shared the same password they would have just logged into the main.

5. Displayed arrogance for why account wouldn't be removed based on contributions and made the same argument from the other angle first post after for why he wouldn't do it.

6. Knew immediately in first posts exactly how many accounts were "hacked" while also feigning innocence that he didn't know he had been hacked.

7. Playing the victim angle and also trying to slingshot it into sympathy while also playing his typical "why would I do this".

8. He has past experience which point to this. Has showed his propensity to lie. Everyone forgetting where he attacked me on the mafia board. Banned me. Deleted his own post to try and hide the evidence. And acted like he did nothing at all and why would he do that? Despite absolute proof of what he did existing.

Lopen, you can act like you are right all day cuz you just magically say so, but Ulti has shown the propensity to do exactly what he did here prior, multiple times.

He was the king of freak outs in mafia then coming back and playing nice later with a sympathy story to make him seem like he was a victim. And, people forgive him every single time.

It is kind of funny yinz never learn.
