Allen's ban practices are no secret. He's outright stated that longtime posters very rarely get banned because they're the most reliable source of traffic to the site

He already has. Blocking, ignoring, bans, suspensions, etc. All of it can be circumvented by making alts. Which means that none of these features are really there for their stated reasoning because they could eliminate alts to shore up that front and make those features work as intended.

They have methods for nuking bad actors who keep making alts to bypass bans. Like...for real, I don't recommend actually trying this or they might start doing stuff like banning the range of IPs associated with your account. (I've heard of people who logged into a public library and gotten their account banned because someone else was doing bad stuff on that network).

i don't think they do stuff like IP bans/KOS anymore.

i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong, but i associate that stuff more with the old days. like when shake's 30 alts would get banned instantly the moment he posted with one of them.

It's not concrete but I messaged Ulti last night on his main and he didnt reply until 1am so if he was on I believe I would have gotten a response sooner than that.

Yeah that's what I meant by IP ban

People with multiple banned accounts can circumvent the system by creating an account over a new IP, but once you switch back to your regular IP, you're one warning away from an instant ban.

Well sure you can dislike Ulti but frankly nothing Ulti has done should cause people to believe he would account suicide by posting random porn particularly in some topic without his name on it buried about 50 posts in, particularly in a topic about a contest announcement, which is the only thing that Ulti seems to reliably legit still enjoy on this site.

As many have already said it's not his style at all. You're blinded by bias and not critically thinking if that felt like Ulti's MO to you.

I would say people being so passionately biased they'll believe something that far off from what makes sense is more their problem than Ulti's. In day to day life critical thinking when your personal biases are challenged is more important than not being offensive to randos on a message board.

Ive legitimately been doing really well. There arent many things better than a job/career youre in *love* with. I get out of bed at 5am and cannot wait to get to work. Marriage is good, familys good, church is great, gaming/hobbies have been great. Even got Game of the Decade upcoming. Outside this silliness, I cant complain!

Some alts getting closed is whatever. I was worried for a sec that my actual identity was stolen and my finances were out there, which frankly would have been impressive given I have three different ID shields going. Thankfully this was not the case.

Oh, it's definitely a bigger problem when you're believing something that isn't true.

But Ulti says he's hurt that people would believe it, and there's a pretty clear reason why they want to believe it.

I'll be honest, I thought Ulti could have been high if that was really him.

In any case, I take cyber-security fairly seriously, so I thought he was probably hacked. We're desensitized to Ulti's antics here, but he does have a target on him outside of this board.
