You can frame it however you want, but the fact remains that as I said, if they had just allowed the UN investigators in as they agreed, that war would never have happened. They balked, mislead, shot at, threw out, lied to, and so on to investigators in their years of games regarding it. They dug their own grave regarding it. There were mistakes that happened in Iraq. But, to act like the war wasn't justified is just silly. It plainly was. They didn't have to have nuclear weapons for the war to be justified.

I dont get how not cooperating with UN investigators in the 90s makes it justified when the same UN investigators were cooperated with in 2002/2003 and said it wasnt.

Look I understand that it's often a stretch to defend Trump's actions, but the notion that he needs to inform Congress or get a Congressional authorization to kill a designated enemy combatant in a warzone is embarrassingly preposterous.

This was even more legally clear cut than taking out bin laden, since he was killed in Pakistan.

We are not at war with Iran. We haven't declared war on Iran and they haven't declared war on us. Interestingly, ISIS did officially declare war on us so I would say a state of war existed notwithstanding our Congress not declaring it.

He was both a high level military official and a major terrorist who was killing Americans. Trump should be in the clear due to the latter, though the former is all anyone cares for the aftermath. But treating him as one or the other is wrong, it's both.

Pretty sure he is intentionally staying out of the debates. He gets no negative sound bites, has to answer no tough questions about his record, and only gets his positive message out thanks to all the money he has to spend on ads.
