Thanks! Got Mog's LMR and Auron's glint in two consecutive days last week, but that's been it in around a month and a half.

Also, armed with that new AASB, I decided to try my luck against Belias. Man did it work. Mastered in 21.87!

Only saw two attacks in phase 2, and two attacks in phase 3 (skipped phase 2 saber, and phase 3 greater barrier). Rydia's chase was quite helpful in both damage and building chain, Famfrit's fire stoneskin (and Belias not being in rage at the time) helped ease the bite of savage painflare, and phase 3 savage hellfire hit for about 6k, which is manageable. Was worried I'd have to out to get rubies and make Lunar Leviathan (I've barely touched torments for quite some time), but Ogopogo was capping when the chain got going. Chain waterja was barely breaking 10k after AASB initially, but Famfrit was reliably breaking savage anyway, so I wasn't worried.

I can likely bring OK AASB to Adamantoise and pair it with Ultimecia's AASB, so I should be okay there. Still have no idea how to tackle Ark. And then it's the two wind monsters...

OK Awakening is amazing for almost anything besides 6* Magicite (and his enwater glint/sync is coming soon) He'll be a MVP till then.

He should also wreck Typhon with Voltech or Chain Blizzaja, his awakening is Black Magic after all.

None of the 6* Magicite have been fun so far, they're all tedious and frustrating with gimmicks that screw you over (Titan's wall and 10 turn countdown with an insane defense buff, Ramuh's electric field with overstrike attacks, Leviathan's doom BS) Ugh, but that and some torments are the only things left for me to do right now.

I think you're right. OK AASB, Terra AASB, Rinoa CSB/USB, Tyro USB3, Elarra USB1 should be good for Typhon. Chain Blizzaja on OK, Valigarmanda on Terra, Voltech and Chain Blizzaga on Rinoa.

Syldra will involve Squall AASB for sure, as well as Fran CSB, Tyro USB3/AASB, and Elarra USB1. Just unsure who to use for secondary DPS. Potentially Bartz, though ice isn't his element.

Got 4 kills on Belias, the last two being just under 20 seconds. Will likely get 4 more, to have 2 copies, then look at trying either adamantoise and/or Typhon. And Im going to read up some strategies for Ark and see what I can do. Have Ramzas chain, though not sure what else he does in that fight

Ark's savage mode massively increases its damage dealt and its damage taken. If you're not breaking savage, physical units will actually deal more damage to Ark than they will to Doomgaze! So, giving Ramza some holy offense for this fight isn't crazy. But, if you have Awakenings (and nowadays you probably do), then it is less clear. I suppose there's always Wrath/Entrust.

Physical awakenings, yes. At least one holy physical AASB in Roxas, but I don't believe I have any magical ones.

Edit: Oh I get what you're saying now. Still, likely going to try and go the magical route, though Ramza using AS or HS to build chain may work a bit.

What do you guys think is best to use your tickets on? I have three stockpiled now because I never know what to use them on and I have never gotten what I needed to get me over the hump in some of the realm torments, though I haven't tried in some of the realms I recently got AASBs for.

As for Magicite, I have beaten Phyiscal for Wind, Earth, Lightning, Water, Fire, and Magical for Ice. Neither Holy or Dark, I have like 3 Phyiscal AASBs for my dark team but because I don't have a good chain I never feel like I am able to finish the job. I have Orlandeau AASB for my Holy Team but my magicite deck was too weak to finish deathgaze before the doom timers. I am fortunate enough to have the Golbez Chain and Vayne AASB but I just kept falling short there so I think I need to get that magicite deck up too and maybe I can finish Madeen.

The quick time definitely does NOT mean it was easy. Was able to get outta phase one after 4 enaeros (affliction break made him miss two of them), so I avoided the sonic boom in that phase. Had Rinoa use voltech first turn then her chain on turn 2. Shelke used RW Raider turn 1, then entrust to OK turn 2. OK used affliction break, then his AASB turn 2. Terra was Vali spam until AASB, then more Vali spam, and Elarra did her thing. Thought about entrusting Terra early instead of OK, but summons do more damage, and I needed that damage late. In rage mode, OK's chain blizzaja doesn't break 10k, even at 100 chain count (though his AASB had just run out I believe), so Terra's is essential at that point. I'm pretty sure I needed at least one of Elarra's curadas to DC in order for it to be that smooth though. Don't need to use her USB until after phase 3 sweltering winds.

Need to farm this guy a bunch, as I need two attack boons to go into one Madeen, and likely one more to go into my hybrid atk/mag Madeen. Then it's just Syldra, Adamantoise, and Ark.

The core is banner is most where tickets go in hopes of Elara Awakening/Glint+/USB2 or Tyro Awakening, the pool is small so chances are you have a high chance of getting them. Otherwise just use them to help on whichever magicite or torment you need next.

I got a disco on the daily! Squall AOSB dupe :( At least it's a 8* now I guess.

I also 100 gemmed Cloud's EnDark LMR off the Genesis banner so that kinda makes up for it.

Now Im either pushing Typhon to phase 2 too fast, and Shelke gets snorted before she can cast Mateus, which means Rinoa then has to cast it. All of that is fine, but its an extra couple seconds before breaking savage, so he usually gets an extra attack in that phase.

Or, I stall, but then push him too fast from phase 2 to 3, and am not ready for the phase 3 savage heavenfall. Gotta get that figured out. Still need to kill him 10 more times.

Leviathan sucks, I think I'm just gonna wait until the maintenance in hopes we get the License Board and 6* motes and maybe I can DPS his down. I just can't seem to figure out a way to get reraise to work properly with my team so I'm just gonna have to give up on him in the meantime.

Reaaaal bad timing. The game in that meta is focused on Torment 3.0, 6* magicite will mostly be powercrept by that point so realm synergy is the main priority now, Beyond characters are a bad investment as far as we know.

Really hoping we get a bit more from Mobius before it shuts down. Would be really upsetting if the 3 Mobius characters we have don't get any more after the game's servers close.

Record Keeper never even added the 2 new characters from the Season 2 story.

Didn't license boards come with 5th Anniversary? I wouldn't expect that early... although you never know. I do expect Ifrit soon, it's about two months since we got Ramuh now. Not that I'm ready, I need at least one more water awakening of any type, maybe a sync.

It was a little earlier wasn't it? So people could farm 6* motes on Magicite for the 5th Anniversary bosses. Next fest in in March so it can't be that far off (especially with how Global tends to get stuff early sometimes.)

Ifrit is probably gonna come next maintenance, he feels long because we got Leviathan early. Also he's a gimmicky boss with very low defense for a 6* Magicite (less than Odin) but 4 pillars that you have to be careful about attacking. Apparently healer awakenings are more valuable than DPS awakenings in that fight!

I was kinda worried I since I didn't have Sarah bUSB since that seems to be the key for most sub30s, but with dualcast Healing Smites and Echo's dance LMR heals I had more than enough recovery. I also spent an artifact stone to make the FF1 sword for WoL, I never did that before for a torment, and I was especially reluctant for a rare realm like FF1. But I figured "eh" I got 7 of them and I have no rush to make any new artifacts at the moment, and that would let WoL use gathering storm with less of a damage loss. Besides as far as we know the next powercreep is Torment 3.0 so I probably would have made it anyway.

That just leaves 7 and 10 left to go.

Good draw but none of the Rinoa stuff (or Seifer AASB) that was my main motivation for drawing. Rinoa's AASB returns on the next VIII banner 1 but not her LMR... and also then it'll be banner 1 odds not banner 2 odds. Not sure if I want to spend more here or not.

Also Selphie's awakening is my first healer awakening and I do have her USB1... but is that good enough to use her? Her USB1 is kinda weak because it's NAT which somehow means it doesn't scale well.

Selphie's okay, she's a poor man's Penelo but since Penelo is so good she might be worth using. She doesn't have Penelo amazing USB2 though and a weaker LMR dance chase as opposed to Penelo's LM2.

I had thought I would do Ifrit with magic but now I might actually have the tools to do physical first (Tidus AASB, Rikku CSB/AASB/G+, Bartz AASB) while on Magic I need a 3rd water mage (I have Rydia's AASB/AOSB and Strago CSB/AASB/AOSB)

Thanks to Trinity Bombshell and Jecht Awakening I got the sub30 on the FFX D???! This would have been a lot easier if I had an instant medica for Yuna, but at least the temptation of her bUSB on Dream Selects is over now.
