The problem with giving it to Xezat is that Xezat would have to be in your party. Fuck Xezat and his garbage USB.

Xezat having a renewable enice soul break is extremely valuable in 6* magicite, no matter how crummy his USB is. And like I said before there's not many spellbladers who have enice. Or physical ice in general. Like you get Noel for sharpshooter (and Fran but she only gets enice through her awakening and LMR, so diffusion is gonna really annoy her) Snow, Josef and Eight for ice monks and Ayame for ice samurai. Looking at that list Xezat doesn't even seem that bad.

I got my second Ifrit magicite this morning, ugh this fight is still an RNG nightmare. I had to slog through the third phase without any awakening since I use Gogo's to get through the first phase and most of phase 2, and Meia used Lunar Leviathan under awakening when Ifrit entered his third phase, so she killed all the pillars by herself and died, but I still had Elara's awakening in reserve so I could revive her, thankfully most of Ifrit's attacks in phase 3 are piercing, and the ones that aren't are so painful you will use a medica SB anyway, thank god none of his attacks in that phase are five digit!

I did a few attempts on Ifrit myself, and jeez, that's a pain of fight. I'm convinced I have the tech to take him down, but surviving his massive damage is not an easy task.

At least I got a win against Transcendant Shadowsmith. That guy has a lot of HP to chew through, but I ran double healer, so his offense was manageable.

Maybe I should consider a double healer team for Ifrit too.

Two healers is almost mandatory, you're going to take a lot of pain, and not just the status effect. Heck you can almost count Strago as a third healer thanks to his LM2.

But I finally got my fourth one! Thank god I never have to do this RNG disaster again! I don't even think powercreep will make this guy easy, at least not until we get more max HP through like 7* motes or something.

Wow for the first time besides the long 5* magicite gap between Odin and 6* I think I'm up to date with all current magicite. Also I almost forgot to do my dream select for Awakenings, I definitely don't need Strago's anymore, I think I'll get Seifer's for Alexander.

There's still HP from 6* motes, right? I think the characters you're using don't have record boards yet.

That's true only Elara has 6* record board right now. But the increased damage from pain can still kill a character quick, you have to eat 4000/6000 fixed damage then one of the pillars, then one of Ifrit's painful attacks since he's pretty fast too. My Elara has 10,913 HP, but she still can die pretty quick regardless. Penelo's dance chase heal/Strago's LM2/Elara's bard heal LMR are more important to cover the damage than the raw max HP IMO. Unless characters start getting into the 20000's where they can shrug off the fixed damage which is why I said 7* motes, not 6*.

Goddammit, that guy is awful. So much damage. Characters with 6 or more pain are not easy to keep alive. And that fucking Berserk is such a pain in the ass to deal with.

Elara Awakening is easily worth 100 mythril IMO. Especially if you're going to fight Ifrit.

Still waiting on that maintenance with the realm banner refresh before I spend my tickets.

Not sure if that was a response to me but yeah, I did end up doing the 100 mythril draws and taking it. I also got Orlandu's awakening from the 2 draws, which was the only awakening in a gift set that I didn't already have. I also had every LMR in the gift sets. So it came down to which AOSB I wanted between Tidus, Terra, Ingus, Bartz, or Orlandu (I had all the others) and I took Tidus.

I'm not totally sure if I'm going to use Elarra for Ifrit, because I have Aerith's G+ and her USB2. I might try a team with her and Tidus/Rikku/Paine/Bartz. Or maybe two healers will be the way to go, not sure yet. I am working on Leviathan for real right now.

I wasn't sure if this team would have enough firepower when I failed to get Garnet's awakening. But I just couldn't get it to work with 3 dps + Garnet + healer. Finally went with this team, just built SB while waiting for the 5s dooms to trigger, used Elarra's AASB, refreshed DVG, and then went all out. Now I need to do it 3 more times but I don't think that will be all that hard. Then Ifrit!

Usually my luck runs out at the end of a fest, so this is an amazing surprise. It's just a tad bit annoying that I've been fighting wind weak Odin for about a week now and finally beat him yesterday, but I haven't touched Titan yet so I'm still really happy. Hopefully it lasts 1 more day since I'm planning on 2-3 pulls tomorrow.

How important are imperils against Ramuh? I have a ridiculously stacked earth magic team, but my only weakness is I don't have any (good) way to imperil earth. I got excited when I saw Red XIII's HA is a 100% imperil, except it only lasts 4 seconds.

She's the easiest 6* magicite so far, or at least the least stressful. No major gimmick or OP damage, only trouble she really gives is she uses the Infinity Bind pretty early in Phase 3, but other than that just stall in phase 1, build enfire stacks with glints, use Tyro USB4 and Elara USB2 and she gets wrecked.

You don't need them at all. Ramuh doesn't do anything to raise his earth resistance, so you can do plenty of damage with chains + awakenings/syncs

Rinoa glint+ is also an ice boosting hat with a high magic stat so it's not a bad thing to have 3 of.

Damn, that was a struggle. Not looking forward to doing it 3 more times, but hopefully it'll be easier now. Switching Tyro out for Aerith made a big difference, even though all Tyro's entrusting was going to Elarra before anyway. Rikku's damage in phase 3 with Trinity bombshell was pathetic even in awakened mode... Aquatic Weakness might be better but not sure I want to invest since I know I can win without it.

Perfect. Got plenty of Rinoa stuff, so the glint+ is nice. Got some Laguna stuff too (though not his chain unfortunately). And Squall sync is perfect. Need to figure out how to use it effectively with other stuff, but definitely a nice last draw! Now time to scrounge up more mythril for the realm/elemental refreshes.

FF7R pull a total bust, two Sephiroth LMs which was already a dupe

failed Syldra, so thinking I'll likely pull on the FF8 banner at some point. I have no interest in farming 14 5* mags per week at this point since I'll get burned out on the game real quickly and I don't have any auto teams set up until I can get enough in my collection to get good passives ready. For now I'll casually do runs through the two I can beat reliably (Hecatoncheir and Mateus). Fest stuff should help me push through Manticore now as well

I should be ready for Valefor since I have Noel, Squall and Laguna Awakenings and Laguna chain, and glints for Squall and Laguna and Noel's enice USB. Still I kinda want to pull for Squall's synchro even though I should save my mythril for the realm banner refresh. That's more important so I can get anima lens+ to get Squall's hero ability.

So this week's 6* magicite is Hecatoncheir, I haven't fought that guy in a long time since his magicite is pretty bleh and his third phase is the worst, but I have new wind stuff I can try on him (and Titan)

It's banner-refresh time.
I don't have ghe mythril to pull all of them right away, but I'll get to the remaining ones soon enough.

For now, I did all elemental banners and realms "core" - VII, also used the 2 tickets on VIII, which has 4 Syncs in the pool.

Highlights so far:
New Chains: Ramza, Paine (though I already have Rikku's)
New AASBs: Snow, Quina, Wakka, Meia, Luna, Edea
New Sync: Ashe
