I yolo'ed all of my 10K+ originium and around 60+ pure originium (roughly 10K+ originium too) on the Shining/Saria banner after I've gotten the 5* guaranteed unit for some reason. Didn't get any 6*, but I got multiple 5* units and managed to max potential a lot of 4* units that I like. It's a very questionable choice but it could have gone worse.

Well on the bright side, I finally managed to 400 cleared the first annihilation quest! starting to get an understanding of how the game works too which is nice. Downside is I'm all out of originium and it'll take 2 months to farm back the 20K I just spent....well maybe not a downside after all since I did rack up my pity rate quite a bit and it carries over from banner to banner, besides I have all those new shiny 4/5* to work with.

Only thing of note I got was Nightmare. Shes basically an Aigis shaman, except her heals are actually drains, so she can do both at once. Thats neat, I suppose.

Yeah the key to 1st Annihilation is having enough general dps on the bottom and a really strong tank and a healer on the top. Key to 2nd Annihilation is knowing when to retreat your pusher/puller/vanguard.

A text-based guide for these would be way more useful imo

About 24 hours until the English release of Symphogear XDU now. All of the pre-registration goals/rewards were met, so we're getting quite a few gifts at launch. The game client is actually already available for download (on both IOS and Android) in some places if anyone wants to pre-download it, but obviously the servers aren't up because they're doing final maintenance before the launch. Sitting at the maintenance screen for a few minutes lets you sample one of the first and very best songs in the whole franchise... or you just watch this clip from the anime's first episode.

Managed to beat all the extra missions in Grani side story for Arknights

GT-HX-3 took me several tried, ngl, but it felt really good finally finishing it. I'd definitely recommend looking up a video for this, but a lot of people seem to have their own approach for it. If your stats are lacking, then I'd recommend mimicking this one:

A bit harder to build for, and I think a few of the vanguards could be replaced with a defender, but the highlight is the Grani/Lancer-3 to block the snipers coming from the top. I think any defensive strat that can hold the swordsmen with a vanguard and can block with Grani later on should theoretically beat the stage.

Because after you get to a certain spawn, you basically won as long as you react quickly enough to the boss breaking through your defense. Just have them do the merry-go-round top to bottom to top using blockades, and your mages should eventually kill all the enemies.

It's really easy to screw up the execution of this, and I ended up using another build than the vid I posted due to having enough stats to do so. So it depends on what kind of spin you can put on it

If you guys were curious, the plaque you get from it just gives the standard 75 ambiance and isn't anything special. Doing this is almost entirely just for bragging rights and the one originium as it doesn't even have any special drops

What's kinda sad is that for a chick who's able to literally toss a spaceship over her head, the Symphogear girls were pretty bad in SHC lol. Like from that picture, the Infinite Stratos girls are really good. They have really good movement and can fly, so they're not affected by floor spaces. Also Aria has a stupidly high dodge rate and does really good damage for a tiny chick lol

The 3 girls from Symphogear don't have anything that really stands out though, aside from Yukine having above average attack range. Although IIRC that was sort of nullified because her movement was sub par. Although she did have Megadeth Symphony which looked cool :3

My DL Valentine's gift was a 7% rate, which I'm put of resources to break.

That might be the final straw for me, honestly. The game has felt kinda lame lately with so many reruns & events like MonHun being up for weeks without a ton to do. Getting moderately screwed and running out of basically everything (5 Wyrmite & 0 tickets atm) might get me to just call it quits.

I'm going to try it out assuming it's fairly easy to reroll. Sounds like it shouldn't be too difficult going by the luck you've had with it. I can't imagine pulling that many 5*s from the start though.

Nice. Didn't even have to reroll in Symphogear. I managed to get both AoT units, a 5* print (or whatever they are), and another 5* unit from 3 multis. Not sure what the rates are as I haven't looked but they seem pretty damn good in this game.

I got 4 "prints" and only one symphogear. Not really happy with that outcome so I'm going to reroll for a bit

Also the rates are worse than they suggest since it looks like you need 5 total dupes to max out a character.

Yeah that's the biggest turn off in this game. I did manage to get a dupe for both AoT characters from free summon tickets but I doubt there will be any way for me to get enough for max limit breaking. This was why I ultimately quit DanMachi due to the dupe/limit break system.

I believe it's 5% for getting any 5* card, and for a 5* Symphogear user is about 2%. Which isn't great, but isn't awful either.

I read that they've been nerfed from their JP versions (they came out almost 3 years into JP's life, so releasing a unit with that level of power creep into the base EN game would break everything) but they're still pretty good for where they are now. I'd say go for them if you like AoT.

If you have a second device capable of playing the game, I think you can use a transfer code to transfer the roll to the second device, which will let you re-roll on the first device without needing to re-download as much stuff.

I was wondering especially considering it's obviously a game that will have collabs. You don't want to make it to where you're unable to limit break those limited units once they're gone, because it seems like most games don't rerun those events.

Alright Symphogear XD Unlimited

Non-gay version of Revue Starlight but instead of magical girl it's mecha warrior albeit on cringier side design wise.

Pros
- Songs, very catchy songs.
- Everyone looks so silly, it might be fun for a while. Story mode will be fun at the very least.

Cons
- Obnoxious UI that is used on typical cash-grab Gacha.
- Support Card system that is used on FGO/Dragalia Lost.
- Very UN-F2P (look at the rewards section), at this point I can quickly tell if it's a quality gacha or not. I can already see the powercreeps crashing in haha.

I'll try to stay for the main quest that at least I want to do, might do one or two reroll for funsies and then whatever happens I'll just take whatever I have.

Yeah. It's usually either "you have to pull multiple copies to max them, but they get re-run a lot" or "you only technically need to pull them once but from there you can still max them out through some other means". Some collaboration events (like the Lyrical Nanoha collaboration in Magia Record) might be exceptions if they're limited by how long they bought the license for and the game doesn't have a different way to max them out.

Then again, from what I've heard about XDU, limit breaking isn't an absolutely insane advantage except in really high tier PvP when you're facing whales. The max level for a rarity-broken 6* character without any limit breaks is 60, and each limit break only gives two additional levels up to a true max level of 70. The different between a maxed level 70 and a level 62-64 isn't that drastic, at least from what I've heard.
