I loved this episode

tyson was a lot of fun getting PEANUT BUTTER

tony had another spy bunker and this time HE GOT AWAY WITH IT

and denise owning that tribal. the second idol was wasted but I think was a fair move, and using two idols (one given to her by the other side), if she wrote in her bio that she wants to be parvati, she'd be like the first person to be correct

also kim/jeremy not using their idol/powers was ballsy for them both, and tony not getting advantagegeddoned!

Yeah I thought Tony was 100% out there and was bracing for it... what a relief.

I mean, sucks for Sandra, and feels like Tony has no control/shot at winning the game, but still better he's on the main island.

That Tyson-Rob-Parvati-Sandra boot sequence is brutal though.

I can see why she did, it could've easily been a 3-1-1 since they really didn't need to put all 4 votes on Denise. I'm kind of surprised it wasn't. Eh... I guess if they think Jeremy sticks with Denise and a 2-2-1 happens, fair enough. That was a bit too cute!

He got away with not being found, but it wasn't successful! Everyone else knew it was something he did, called out that it would probably be at the water well, and discussed everything elsewhere. I don't know why, but I'm reminded of the Black Knight from Holy Grail where they just... go around him and he can't do anything because he's stuck in one spot.

Like, it's a great act of subterfuge when no one expects it! But you're Tony! If the season is all about adapting, don't play the same plays!

Enjoyed the episode well enough. Team green won, Sophie was psychic, Yul survived, Denise played awesomely, and Amber had Nam flashbacks when Tyson carried over a log. (Rob and the Fafaru) Also, Sarah's face when they won and that big group hug.

I won't disagree that both tribals kind of sucked, and Wendell/Michele drama is tough to watch, and I'm sick of Adam as our narrator.

And this is with two idols in the game and an unfair twist that screwed over Aaron (but at least the aftermath with James, PG, and Jaime was awesome to watch). Contrast this with modern Survivor where the producers think that seemingly everyone needs to have some sort of advantage to make the game "interesting."

This is why, conceptually, the worst advantage in Survivor history is the Idol Nullifier (even if it resulted in one of my all-time favorite blindsides in its first appearance). It's an admission that there are just too many idols out there, so instead of having there be fewer idols, they add yet another twist on top of a twist.

I had it saved on the PVR and was planning to get started. I guess it's good that I hadn't started yet. Looking up what's happened in the house it sounds like it's for the best anyway. A week 1 walk, and two people being expelled. wtf

It literally is. NYC already started a "bail reform" in January that allows ALL violent criminals to be released within hours of being arrested. Crime has skyrocketed as a result and Eliza has been a vocal supporter of it the entire way.

Now her and her people are weaponizing the current coronavirus situation for their own gains. They're claiming that "crime is down" while ignoring the context of nobody leaving their houses. They're pushing for the DA's office to outright stop prosecuting cases and for the mass release of city inmates to "halt the spread of the disease" (how that wouldn't have the exact opposite effect is unclear).

It's absolutely disgusting. Sure, "it's a fucking stick" was fun. Yay Eliza. But in real life she is fucking insane and should not possess a millionth of the power she is vying for.
