Yes, theres been some exceptions since, but nothing has compared to my experiences with Halo3 online, the golden cod days, Oblivion, and etc. Currently, we have the worst cod game to date and red dead lacks as much spice as a midwestern dinner. I just realized my taste in games completely changed and never alerted me. I look for the exact opposite shit I use to. I use to be a straight action gamer. Now I like story driven games or heavy menu games. I fuckin loved all the menu stuff in Death Stranding. I use to hate that shit. With larger more detailed maps and regions, comes severe hand-holding. Any kind of difficulty is shunned because games are mainstream as fuck now. Going back and playing games from yesteryear leaves you wondering if you just suck now, or if games really used to be that hard. Alot of the BS mechanics we used to hate are gone now, I find.
