It also later got a mobile game that introduced a new cast of characters and told an alternate side of the story. It's the fact that the character is just randomly switching languages in the middle of a scene for absolutely no reason. I'm fine with insert songs in the background of scenes being left in Japanese because it's not meant to be the characters themselves singing. But when it's clearly the on-screen character, who I've been watching speak in English for several episodes, suddenly singing in Japanese out of nowhere for no good reason, that awkward switch annoys the everliving fuck out of me. It's the same reason why I waited over a year to watch Zombie Land Saga dubbed so Funimation could dub the songs to be in English too. I also refused to watch Carole & Tuesday as it was airing because it was the opposite situation where the characters were speaking in Japanese but singing in English.
