UBI is a opt in thing. If someone is already receiving aid through disability or something they cant get ubi. Also ubi only $1000, you cant live off of that but if your working it adds a little bit more cushion and it helps business since they dont have to increase wages and more people will but their product. I dont really see inflation spiking, maybe a extra bump but not a hell of a lot. Personally I don't see why taxes can't be just handled like a tax rebate i.e. a person without income has a $1000 rebate they can claim on filing. So, they would need money to pay for it. But its money they dont have because they dont have a job. And they cant get a job until they have that specialized training. They were herded into Public Housing which doesn't accrue in wealth therefore you can't sell or borrow money against the equity in a Public Housing project. Food stamps also do not accrue in wealth as well.
