It's if they can do the jobs that are left for them to work. Some people only know how to do one thing. It would suck if there was nothing they could do, even if they wanted to... Sometimes a normal job isn't what people want. Someone could start a youtube channel, someone can back to school, someone can fuck their life way, but I bet on humanity wanting to work and provide work in their own way or their own field. It does what it is called "freedom divedent" gives people the option to choose how they want to contribute to society. Except a lot of jobs may disappear with automaton... A lot of new jobs will be created too But those new jobs will probably be highly specialized...
