While it has some of the silliest moments in JB history, I really enjoyed it. But it's up there with Moonraker as one I'll defend for being far better than it's reputation suggests. Even most detractors wouldn't argue against the pretitle sequence, it's outstanding. Most of the action scenes and stuntwork are great in this one, actually. Orlov is a wonderfully hammy villain. The Yo-yo saws are bizarre yet horrific. 009 being hunted down in clown disguise is, again, bizzare but haunting. And Bond rushing to disarm the bomb is a genuinely tense piece of work. Worst film for me is easily Die Another Day. Everything else I'll at least be in the mood for very occasionally. Plus Christopher Lee Moonraker is just outrageous and campy. If you watch it knowing it's bad it's pretty entertaining. Octopussy was pretty fucking terrible. I wouldn't be mad if someone said it was the worst. View to a Kill was disappointing, but not bad. Literal Christopher Walken. Never Say Never shouldn't really count. It's also more of a parody film. Die Another Day is really bad. Like really bad. It tries to be serious too, but ends up like Moonraker levels of cheesy. But at least Moonraker knew what it was doing. Die Another Day is just a complete shitshow that has no value at all. Probably the worst Bond film. Quantum of Solace is boring and forgettable, but there's worse Bond films. Spectre as a plot was a disaster. Otherwise it was pretty status quo for a Craig film. Definitely bottom half tier of Bond films but not really terrible. So it's Die Another Day for me, and I'd be comfortable saying Octopussy was the worst too. Also, I don't care what anyone says. Azumininja 12/03/19 5:26:25 AM #146:	I don't remember much from the pre-Brosnan movies. Now for Brosnan, Goldeneye is by far is best movie (and perhaps even THE best Bond movie). All his other movies are crap. I especially remember a bad CGI scene where he was parachute-surfing or something like that. I do feel however, Brosnan was cast well as Bond. And at least it wasn't completely forgettable like Quantum of Solace or have a stupid, cliche, Austin Powers twist like Spectre. As for Skyfall, while I think it's fine to almost good, I think the bar being so low for the Craig films helps it. It's not a very good Bond movie though, but none of his movies are. It's like Disney's sequel Star Wars trilogy. They didn't have an overall plan and the movies are all over the place. Bond is a new 00 in CR, but by Skyfall he's a worn down old dog who needs to retire. What are they trying to do?
