I have to defend AVTAK a bit. At least A View To A Kill is memorable, has one of the best theme songs, and has Christopher Walken in it. And at least it wasn't completely forgettable like Quantum of Solace or have a stupid, cliche, Austin Powers twist like Spectre.

As for Skyfall, while I think it's fine to almost good, I think the bar being so low for the Craig films helps it. It's not a very good Bond movie though, but none of his movies are. It's like Disney's sequel Star Wars trilogy. They didn't have an overall plan and the movies are all over the place. Bond is a new 00 in CR, but by Skyfall he's a worn down old dog who needs to retire. What are they trying to do? CR is like The Force Awakens: a fine and interesting start and it makes you want to see where it goes because of all the series potential it possibly has, but then it all goes to crap
