One nitpick I have about A View to a Kill.

Even with Dolph Lundgren being a complete unknown, even with this film coming out before Rocky 5, he had a unique enough look to him that he should have been given a fight with Bond. There's a brief fight toward the beginning where Bond fights a dude who's slightly above average height for a bad guy. That role should have gone to Dolph.

On the consolatory side, it's neat that Dolph and his girlfriend Grace Jones got to share a scene together.

He plays a KGB bodyguard in the scene where Mayday lifts a guy over her head. Dolph gives her a look like "WTF?" after seeing how strong she is.

Theres no way in hell A View to a Kill is better than Skyfall. Zorin is one of my favorite Bond villains, but the movie surrounding him is so dull.

Whoops. Forgot to reply to this post.

I think it's a better James Bond movie while Skyfall is the superior movie period. I'm biased though. AVTAK and a lot of the other "worst" ones were some that I watched a lot as a kid. I guess I'll take bad JB over no JB. I know how silly that sounds, but I can't help it.

I get that completely. Similarly, I think Skyfall is a perfect Bond film in the gritty Craig-verse style yet I feel like Casino Royale is a better action film. But campiness is a classic Bond trait that A View to a Kill has in spades.

Speaking of campiness, Im surprised this scene hasnt been lauded in this topic yet:
