So Melony is a female Gym Leader as I was expecting. I like her design and she's pretty hot too. The images also confirms that she's an adult (probably in her 20s or 30s).

Opal is probably the oldest character we've ever had in Pokemon (having been a Gym Leader for 70 years). This means Opal would have to be in her 80s or perhaps even early 90s. She won't get much rule 34 at all, if Professor Magnolia is any indication.

I was never gonna like Rillaboom no matter what they went with for Grookey because I'm really just not a big fan of gorillas. They've never really appealed to me.

Outside of that bottom 5 for me, there's really only a couple more that I'd say I actively dislike. Like I was looking over them all trying to pinpoint the bad ones, and then I just realized there weren't any more.

Im pretty on board with the whole gen I think. the penguin is real dorky looking and Orbeetles line looks... super weird, but otherwise its good stuff

oh and the fossils are sorta hideous but I appreciate the idea enough that I can still enjoy them

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I like things that are based on pretty much animal except apes, so Rillaboom doesn't speak to me at all.

The only things in this gen I hate are the mimes though. Everything else is at least ok.

I'm just going to wait until 'Ultra Sword and Shield' or DPPt remakes.

X/Y was bare bones and I still haven't been able to get invested in S/M. It feels like Game Freak realeases a subpar game at the start of a generation then makes a far superior one later on. So I'll just wait til those come out.

Nintendo has been going crazy and doing copyright takedowns of Youtube videos and tweets that show leaked images from the games. I know the Youtuber RuffledRowlit had a bunch of his videos taken down through a copyright strike, while the most notable leak accounts on Twitter have gotten some of their tweets taken down by Nintendo.

I have very mixed opinions of the new mons. A lot if am just so "meh" about.

Probably use Corviknight, Rillaboom, Hatterene, Toxtricity and Centiskortch. 6th may be an old favourite though I always try and use new mons.

Right now, I'm thinking my team (whenever I decide to get a Switch and this game) will be:

Rillaboom (Grookey Gang for life!)
Corviknight
Coalossal (Sure, it'll be bad, but at least it'll be fun to use, especially if it's a special attacker, not to mention how much I like its entire line on design merits. And at least its ability works with Fire-type moves, too, so it doesn't have to die trying to become fast.)

For my last slot, I see a Water-type as pretty indispensable, especially for my Fire and Rock-weak team. Unfortunately, the only Water-type I like this gen is Drednaw, and even if it prevo wasn't awful, I would rather not have two Rock-types. Fortunately, there's lots of cool Water-types from previous gens I haven't used on an in-game team before, particularly Vaporeon, Lanturn, and Seismitoad, which are the three I'm considering for my final slot.

There is no National Dex. Pokemon that aren't in the Galar Dex are not programmed into the game. There is no way to get them, even by trading/transferring. This is currently the plan for all Pokemon games going forward.

There was a big uproar about it. Many longtime/die hard fans are boycotting the game because of it.

Game Freak decided it was unfeasible to keep including an ever-growing roster of 900+ Pokemon/forms in every game.
