It couldn't be that bad, right? I was 12, I'd still enjoy it. I was wrong. We watched it and when it over, he asked me if I wanted the movie to keep it. It really comes off as more of an absurdist parody of super mario than a proper adaptation. A proper adaptation probably should have been animated.
