The two most prominent are robots designed to look just like people as well as specially grown clones genetically programmed to see you as the perfect spouse. Other methods exist such as a spouse that is purely digital in nature and so-forth. They can be customized in terms of personality to suit you and in terms of physical appearence/capabilities within the limits of the method you choose. You won a free voucher for one of these artificial spouses when opening a candy bar up and are currently unmarried (if you are already married). These beings will probably be used for manual labor, wars, etc. basically anything society do not want to subject real human beings to. No doubt some people will feel it is okay to do whatever with these beings since they are not real while some will feel it is morally wrong.
