I'd be perfectly fine with a a robot/clone/AI/whatever else as a live-in friend with benefits if I wasn't in a relationship, though. Though like other people have pointed out, you get into questions of sapience and slavery, so at least some of that is going to depend on both the specific mechanics of the situation as well as societal perception of it.
