In a season where, despite the defence, the Pats don't look extremely threatening to this point, everyone has decided to die around them.

Saints/Seahawks might be the best teams in the NFC. The 49ers somehow haven't convinced me yet, and everyone else seems a tier lower than that.

You have to assume the Pats in the AFC and I still think the Chiefs are, at worst, equal, but everyone else seems a tier lower as well. The Ravens and Texans don't seem incredibly consistent just yet.

You'd have to have watched Chargers games for the last 13 years (lol) to see it but it's there. And sure he's had good skill position players around (Gates, Jackson, Allen, 2 yrs of LT), but almost never has a good line to protect him and spent most of his career with HC's Norv Turner and Mike McCoy. The dude never even gets homefield advantage.
