-ganging up on the weak and powerless because you are scared/insecure/disgusted/horny

-being afraid if we don't exert power to dominate others then they will just do it to us because they cannot imagine other people not thinking exactly like they do

There was that incident where a Trump supporter went to Amash's townhall mad about his impeachment comments but came out saying she was surprised to hear him lay out the facts of the Mueller report because she claimed to only have heard it exonerated him and there was nothing bad about him in it.

Mind you, go too far in the right-wing news bubble and yeah, they openly celebrate Trump's worst aspects, but more mainstream outlets like Fox do their best to spin, cover for, or just bury any coverage that reveals him for who he is.
