The issue more in general is not that there's anything really WRONG with this clip besides some nitpicky stuff like the speed, and that Will Smith isn't a great singer (neither was Robin Williams, but he clearly had more fun with it), but more that this doesn't need to exist. It's clearly an inferior version to the animated one in part since you don't have the creative liberties that animation would give you. It seems like its gonna be pretty much the same story, so it's not like someone has a new story to tell here, or even a twist on the original (which I guess is possible still but pretty unlikely), so this seems to only exist to say "hey look we have the ability to make this animated movie into a live action movie". But why does it need to be made live action? I mean yeah none of the Disney live action movies really need to exist, but I want to see this anyways.
